My guess is, you could merely build a nice-looking flat wood base a tad bit larger than the machine's base, through-bolt it to the 3 existing legs and have a robust, steady & safe repair for that rocking-horse sander.
That's kind of the current plan. I just need to take the time to find the rubber feet that match. I was going to check harbor freight to see if they have something. As always, thanks for watching!

Man, I wish my wife would call me with deals like this... The motors alone in those tools are worth way more than what you paid for them.
You're absolutely right! She sent me pics and I just said "Yes!" But I was still totally amazed when she got home and I opened the back of the SUV.
I have a dewalt lunchbox planer I got on Marketplace for a good deal.
I find it can be tedious to get the infeed and outfeed tables level the base plate.
I would also open it up and check the planer blades just in case. Its fine for me now but I want something bigger.
This is an upgrade for me but like you, I want a bigger one. I was looking at the helical head for it but can't justify it yet.
