Shoots great and hard. I plan on doing another video once i get more pellets and doing a chrono test as well.

    A lot of these 1077's are missing rubber O rings especially if they are out of Canada. They have a 500FPS limit. so Crossman just leaves the rings out. You replace these seals and you FPS can go as high as 800

    • @outdoorplinking1119
      @outdoorplinking1119 21 день тому

      So a rebuild kit for a 1077 or are there o rings you're talking about separate?

  • @nyrainman4897
    @nyrainman4897 23 дні тому

    You mentioned getting 40 or 50 shots out of the 1077, which I would be fine with and for now, I'd rather stay with the co2, although you do give an alternative. So I just purchased mine and here are my results. Any positive input would be appreciated, as with mine, I'm a little disappointed. 1) Using Crosman co2 cartridges 2) Tested with various pellets (Hobby, RWS R10, Excite, Destroyer, Diablo) 3) Temperature was 75 degrees 4) Distance was 20 yards. (I know most shoot at 10 yards, but I like the challenge) So here's my disappointment and I'd like to hear from others. First, I'd like to mention, at 20 yards with an inexpensive scope, 12 shots landed within 3/4" grouping. I'm happy with that, but on the next clip, with the first 6 shots, you can feel and see the decline in co2, as the shots were dropping on the target and the next 6 shots in the second clip seemed to have trouble getting a few pellets out. With that said, I was only able to shoot 24 shots max per co2, half of which showed diminishing power. I guess if I was at 10 yards instead of 20 yards I wouldn't have noticed the drop, but again, I like the challenge. What is everyone else getting (shots per co2)? Note: I do want to mention that I did not hear any co2 leaks. And are there any recommendations? The cost of switching out the co2 after every 24 shots along with the cost of pellets, for another 2 cents per shot, I could be shooting a real firearm, as .22lr ammo isn't much more. Looking forward in hearing from others.

    • @outdoorplinking1119
      @outdoorplinking1119 21 день тому

      My 1077 you saw in the video is used, not sure of the seals condition but overall doesn't leak and shoots well. I don't think there would be a break in period with one of these c02 rifles, but I could be wrong. Now your grouping you talked about .75inch group at 20 yards is fantastic! Now your concern about power dropping and probably affecting your group. That is the reason why I went from c02 to the paintball tank kit. Because as you shoot the c02 cartridge diminishes quite quickly and as power drops so does velocity and accuracy can suffer. As you shoot c02 the cartridge actually gets colder cause the gas to condense thus running out quicker. I have read that you must take a break between shots or every few shots to let the c02 warm up again. And even at that it will eventually run out and cause a drop in velocity and a drop in accuracy and point of impact. This is the reason why I switched to the paintball adapter kit. I have ao much c02 that it won't matter if I shoot it like a semi auto 22 with only a couple seconds between shots. And I am hoping to get atleast over 1k shots with one fill instead of buying c02 cartridges which can get pricey over a short time. You do loose some c02 from the tank when you connect and disconnect, but it's not much. I have only used my 1077 about 3 times since I've gotten this setup and it doesn't disappoint! Time will tell how practical it will be. But you can always unthread the adapter and go back to c02 cartridge if you just want to shoot a quick pellet clip. Hope this helps

      @@outdoorplinking1119 yes, this was helpful, but still curious from others as to what the average shots per co2 everyone else is getting so I know whether or not there is something wrong with my 1077 or if it's normal. I only have a small window to do a return, but don't want to go in that direction if the 1077 isn't defective.

    Hey How's your Stoeger S4000-E holding up? I just ordered the same deal from Pyramid Air for the refurbished 1200 model. Got it for $69 pluss shipping and tax. Makes me wonder why they have so many refurbished to sell?

      Hey there! My stoeger is holding up just fine, its a real joy to shoot. Stilling trying to find a pellet and weight it really likes. So far the best results ive gotten was with the apollo champion 8.48gr flat nose. I have some heavy normas 9.1 ans some gamo ts10 10.5gr im gonna try

      Boxes indicate that this rifle features a gas piston, this is incorrect. The rifle is powered by a steel spring. This is prompting returns on an otherwise fine product.

      The second pellet was crosmans fast flight, plastic body with lead free tip. The last one was some russian platic pellet with a metal round ball in the tip
