Nice job! Thanks for sharing. Good call on the hammer spring being a little weak on the Legacy 1000. A change will probably get you a nice little increase in FPS across all pump levels. Washing and lubricating pellets along with sorting be weight and head size will almost always give you visibly better accuracy too.
Thanks for the comment i appreciate the support! I will definitely wash these apolo pellets and retest accuracy, might even try to wash some other pellets to see if it makes a difference. I am working on printing a 3d part and looking for a different spring for the hammer to see if i can modify and improve the legacy 1000
@@outdoorplinking1119 with washing the pellets sorting them by weight and removing the damaged skirts will give you better accuracy. Then sorting by head size will even improve it a little more. Washing them alone may not show big improvement. A gram scale which measures to .00 grains will be your biggest help with a clean barrel. Watch out some scammers even sell their rejected pellets, after sorting, as new on e commerce sites.
Okay i will look into that, i do have a nice scale that measures in grains for reloading. And i have a 3 decimal .000 digital mic aswell, perhaps one day i will sort them specifically like that. Just dont always have enough time. Thank you for the reply!
Nice Christmas ✝️🎄gift's! Plinking 🎯 is the airgun's lifeblood! 😃👍 Ps, send the rifle in for a replacement if under warranty. The hammer spring is not opening all the way.
I may contact crosmans parts support. They've been great to me in the past with getting new parts for guns that are under warranty. So i may ask for a new spring and valve if they'd be generous enough. I also have stiffer springs coming that i ordered on eBay that may solve this issue. I wonder if this is a common issue with the legacy 1000s. Thank you for the comment!
I just got bored and turned my Legacy 1000 into shotgun mode! By using pellets and bb's up to 8 ft, and it peppered well! I even tried it on a bird in a tree a10 yards away last year, and it worked !! So that's all I use it for lol
Nice video and kudos for shooting outside in the inclement weather. 😁 Perceptive on the valve lock, sometimes you can shim the hammer spring but the 2100 platform is a pain to take apart.
Hey thank you! As far as the valve, i took the gun apart and cleaned it up and got a trigger or hammer sear and spring. So far its been shooting good and no more air left behind in the valve even after 8 or 10 pumps and firing it
It's comparable to the daisy 880 in accuracy. A little bit more powerful I would say. Youve given me an idea I should do a head to head with those 2 rifles. They are similar price wise and both plastic. I prefer this platform though of multi pump from crosman I just love the way it looks
Great update

Great accurate multipump backyard plinking. How would you compare this rifle with the daisy 880?

@@outdoorplinking1119 yes, that would be great. You would be the first to do a 2100 vs 880 comparison vid!
Ill have to do that soon!
Does this gun have a metal trigger? And, how is the trigger, whether metal or plastic...is it pretty good? Thanks
Trigger is made of plastic. It feels fine to me, and the trigger pull isnt bad in my opion either
@@outdoorplinking1119 Thank you
