I don't think the new models with the plastic receivers are terrible. I have no issues mounting different optics on it. Its probably not as durable to the metal ones if dropped of course. I could never get the old metal receiver 880s to seal up for me. Always still leaked or was really weak. So I just wanted a new one I didn't have to reseal. Does it shoot better? I'd have to compare a good working 880 that's older to this one
@@outdoorplinking1119 They are getting harder to find these days and if you do, command a lot of money . I have the 922 also . Resealed and cleaned up . They sold for 40.00 in the day , now going for over 300.00 if your lucky to find one .
I like my 880 too.👍
Great job on the Daisy 880. Good call on getting the Norma Golden trophy pellets for it! Thanks for sharing1

Where did you get your cheek rest
I got it off a friend, who took it off a rifle he bought used. You might be able to find on similar on ebay or Amazon
Restored an 822 , ( 22 caliber ) wood stock and forearms and no plastic .
That's awesome! I've heard of the old 922 and 822 daisys. Would love to have one
