took apart a battery disconnect switch from a volvo vnl semi truck with d13 engine. it had a hairline crack on the housing so i wanted to make sure it wasn't corroded inside which it wasn't. i did clean up the contacts with a wire brush before i put it back together. i also put UV resin over the crack to seal it

was curious how volvo makes thin wire splits on their harnesses so i took a new one apart. there is no split connector. they r not even soldered. the split off wire is GLUED to an exposed uninsulated part of the main wire. anyone has any idea what glue they used?
