how to test starter on a volvo vnl d13

Thanks for sharing. I have the same problem... Is it the big solenoid? Or the electric motor itself that went broken? Is it worth to try to fix it? Change brushes and clean it?

Yes , the starter was bad, sometimes it would work , sometimes it would not
