Haha, GMRS radio works well with a 15.3” antenna….The 6.5 Creedmoor round made the antenna the perfect length. I just had to drill and tap the primer pocket to the same pitch as the antenna end then seat a new bullet in it.

That’s awesome. I’ve been 3 times now. It’s a 3 hour drive for me now. I’ll definitely be going a couple times a year from now on.

@@leemen I couldn’t believe it when I seen him, He had a smile from ear to ear!!! I’ve seen tons of canoes and kayaks on the Rubicon, but I’ve only ever seen a JetSki, on one of LightBrights videos.

@@TrailTime. I live about 1.5 hrs from JD Square and they allow local pick ups. In your opinion is going the Amazon / Woodward fab rt still worth it if I can get a JD2 without paying outrageous shipping?

@@foulwind4582 yea buck is always the best. I probably should’ve put the order from best as #1. If I can’t get a K5 tree area campsite then the peninsula at buck Island is always available. My favorite way to run the Rubicon is to get to “camp one” on Friday night after work, wake up Saturday cook breakfast, hit gatekeeper, drive to Soupbowl, play on soupbowl and Little sluice, drive to Buck island, set up camp, swim and relax at buck, wake up and head up Old sluice on Sunday and make my way back to Loon.

I’m so impressed with the clearance of the front fenders. I was hoping to go 42”s some day soon but I built it precisely to these BFG reds I’m probably going to have to stick with them until I redo something major in the future.

⁠@@andrews2140I ran 37’s for 3 years on a 3 1/2”. It was perfect. The 39”s when new we’re almost to much tire. At first the Jeep felt a lot more “tippy” on big obstacles. But now that they’re like three or four years old they’re actually like a 37 now so I’m back to being not tippy.

It took me three years to get back. Last time I went I struggled pretty hard. This time was amazing I didn’t wench once and I made it up everything.

@@ptitheprodigy I usually ratchet strap it if I use the big cylinder on the little Lincoln. It was 112 degrees that day and I didn’t want too weld in the garage. Definitely should secure tanks though, your right.

Thanks, I wanted to have peace of mind knowing there clean before I ran them in the Willys. It worked well I actually seen a difference in the spray pattern on a couple of them.

I just couldn’t get the name Heckler hill out of my head. It’s a perfect name. I’ve never cared for k5 much. I always thought k5 should just be the mountaineering K5.
