@@MrGoodeats I’ll be honest I don’t need a friend to tell me what I knew already….. and is always so someone the owns one of those POS and doesn’t complain about it!!! A new company will never make better cars than companies the have been making cars for decades and over a century, the fact the is a EV is enough not to buy one and the most annoying thing is the is considered for a few people as a “luxury car” and I’ll be damn if that’s what luxury actually is!!!! And by the I got a ride “Lyft” on a model 3 and the ride quality is not bad I must say but seriously the noise was very annoying and the liner of the roof was coming off!! I would love to hear your next pile of BS!!!

Both the weather tech and this one seem to keep the car just as cool. My wife's car has a weather tech sunshade and it fills the windshield completely whereas the covercraft leaves small gaps around the edges. But that doesn't seem to make a difference. The one downside to the weather tech is that it does not roll up nicely at all or fold, so you basically just end up tossing the entire thing into your back seats lol. The covercraft as shown in the video, folds up super easily.

@@HammysShowcase thank you for the response but I suppose both keep the car cooler than those cheaper “paper thin” fold up sunshades that come on 2 separate pieces? Thats what I’m looking to replace. I only have bc of how nicely it folds up. Perhaps Covercraft is the way to go.

Coming from a Cadillac CTS that I loved, the CT4V interior is cheap compared to the G70. A CT5V would have been high on my list, but was about CAD25-30K more similarly equipped.

See, I like a "dated" interior. I'm young, but call me old school haha. All these new cars with hyper screens and getting rid of physical touch buttons is not for me. I don't even like the new digital AC interface on the new 2024 model. The 2023 G70 has the most intuitive and easy to use driver interface and infotainment system of any car I've ever been in. Only thing I would change on it is making the gauge cluster fully digital and adding ambient lighting. Everything else is perfect the way it is.

I think it is for a used car buyer. I would've never bought this car fully loaded if I hadn't been able to pick up a brand new model with only 4000 miles for $45k when it should've been $60k. Like I said in the video, now you can get crazy low mileage fully loaded models for under $45k. I'd be sick to my stomach if I paid full sticker price for this car. At least right now a year later, I've only lost about $5k in value verses nearly $20k if I had bought it new. I think that's a strong selling point to say you can get a like new $60k car for less than $45k just one year later lol

You gotta screw the connectors together SUPER CRAZY TIGHT. Like make sure everything is tightening beyond what you think is already tight. Mine leaked like crazy at first and I thought it was screwed on all the way, but it wasn't. Fixed the leak and no problems since.

Mine is a 2023 year model. The filters are made specifically for this year model, they fit perfectly, no issue.

Can't beat lexus reliability. I really wanted to buy a lexus, but in order to get the same tech, features, and performance as the G70, was gonna cost over $10k more

It depends on the wash. The new one I take my wife's car to, it cleans really really well. Never had an issues with the car still being dirty. The rims tho, it does a terrible job at cleaning the rims. I hand wash my car, but my wife doesn't care about microswirls on her car so I said, why bother wasting my time hand washing it lol

Funny you say that. Genesis is consistently ranked in the top 10 for most reliable cars. The G70 back in 2019/2020 was ranked JD Powers car of the year too.

If I could have gotten the IS500 F for this same price I would gone for it. However, to option out the IS500 with all the bells and whistles of the G70, you're looking at $70k. Considering I paid $45k for my G70 fully loaded CPO, that's a massive price difference. Used IS500s are still selling for well over $60k and that's just with the base package, nothing fancy. The two cars are honestly in totally different ball parks

Big difference for me was not only price but AWD vs RWD, which is a HUGE difference for a DD, particularly for those on the east coast who see snow in the winter. The is500 is a fair weather sports car, the Genny is an all-weather DD.

Gotta look country wide. Most times the deals are never in your local area. I dove 5 hours for mine

I'm in one of the most expensive places to purchase a vehicle (Long Island, NY) and a couple of months ago I paid $45,900 for my 2023 AWD 3.3T Prestige which had a sticker price of $57.8k, and only had 590 miles on it. It was a basically brand new CPO from a Genesis dealer who briefly used it as a loaner. I still had to peel plastic and stickers off the car, it was that new. Basically almost $12k off MSRP for a new car. Can't beat it for the price. It's so smooth, very luxurious with a beautiful interior and all the tech, fast and unique. Not that many of them on the road.

I love the interior of the 2024 Santa Fe, I would have preferred it over the 2023, but my wife couldn't get over the weird looking back end... You also couldnt buy a 2024 Calligraphy for $40k either, so 2023 it was haha. Great car still

Do you mean nozzle as in where the water sprays out, or the connectors that twist to your hose? My connectors leaked everywhere, but it was because I didn't have it screwed in tight enough. I thought for sure it was screwed in there tight, but I had to like SERIOUSLY screw it in to stop it from leaking. Been working fine ever since. Never had it leak from the nozzle part, like where the water sprays out if that's what you mean. If the latter, just make sure everything is VERY well connected together

Highly unlikely you got 3 dead machines. Ryobi products are actually pretty good. When I first got my Ryobi I thought it had problems like you, and I replaced it twice before I realized it wasn't the machine that was the problem. Seeing as you are on your third machine it is likely due to your water supply or hose. 1. The garden hose you are using is too long. Anything longer than 50ft will seize up the machine and it will not work, same for the Active. 2. You don't have enough water flow from your spigot 3. You might not have enough psi from your spigot. 4. Not clearing the hose and machine of air before turning it on and running it. If any of these are the reason, you're going to have an issue with thr Active as well.

@@HammysShowcase They were defective machines. The first one worked fine two days. On the 3rd day it would continuously surge about every 3 seconds while on. The second one was working fine until it started burning. I don't know what was burning but the smell of burnt plastic/wire started. The 3rd one did the same as the first after a few uses. They all made a terrible squealing noise when you let off the sprayer. Hopefully the Active doesn't do the same. Spigot pressure is decent and the hose is 50ft. I always bleed the air before use.
