I never heard much about Anita Carter till I watched the old Grand Ole Opry Show Videos shown here on You Tube recently. It got me interest in those old singers, besides Little Jimmy Dickens, who I used to listen to regularly over the radio before he passed. Anita Carter had a very domineering angelic voice of all the Carters. It is sad that she passed away at the age of 66 back in 1999. The "Appalachian Angel" is a very fitting description of her and her angelic singing voice.
