The 2nd generation Carter girls, Helen, June and Anita, should be inducted into the CMHOF. RIP.. I love their versions of the old Carter family songs and the variety of music they performed throughout the years. Anita plays bass fantastic for a 16 year old on this and was blessed with a voice of an Angel. Helen brought accordion into the main stream and had a beautiful voice as well. They all 3 wrote songs their whole life incuding "Ring of Fire" June brought a great sense of humor and sang very good with a great feel for the audience and was our country's first "front man" or women in this case. June played multiple instruments and was singing train and prison songs along with her sisters years before her future husband Johnny Cash.
