Owlman's plan had been perfect with exception for one singular flaw, a flaw that every plan has no matter how perfect it is, its executioner. The only owlmans who would go through the effort of building this bomb and walking this path to ultimate destruction are all thinking in relatively same way. As such in the end they all make same choice, do nothing. There will never be an owlman who in this situation aborts and tries again. That is why it always fails.

I think it's actually because of magic the multiverse exists, just like in "Nier/Drakengard". According to the comics, many eons ago, each entire universe of the first multiverse set had magic. But it got out of control, so the Guardians destroyed the majority of it, harnessing the rest in an artifact called the Star Heart, sending the sentient object to Earth. That must be why only Earth is registered as a planet capable of creating a multiverse, since so much reality altering properties are present in it. But how does the Omniverse (DC term, not Ben 10's) exist ?

I think writers made him said «It doesn't matter» because such character would still believe that another version of the Owlman would sooner or later carry the end of earth prime. I liked this character so much.

GER's physical capabilities are about the same as GE, with an upscale. KC is still physically stronger, and Star Platinum being the physical strongest. GER's Hax is where it shines.
