The only part I don’t like about this video is that you don’t have any subtitles or texts at the beginning of each ride. Very minor minor detail but would’ve helped with the spelling of some of these coasters lol

as someone who used to work at Kingda Ka, i can definately say this ride was a headache, it broke down litterally every day and when Zumanjaro opened it got even worse, because both rides put preasure on the tower whenever either one was in operation, we would have to wait until either ride went around before the other one could, not to mention that since both used the same tower, when maintinence had to go into the tower just to work on Zumanjaro which constantly needed hands on mantinence it meant that Kingda Ka had to close even when it was operating normally, although it was nice to stand at the front of Kinda Ka's line and just tell people the ride was closed and still got paid for that 😁

Kingda ka is definitely getting something done after 2025. There is 3 plans that Great Adventure management was given by the ownership partners. I was told 2, 1 option was redesigning it, but it would be Intamin being the company doing it. Option #2 , complete removal of Green lantern and Kingda ka and build a record breaking coaster. Remember kingda ka life was only 15 years , GA got over 20 years . I was not told option #3. I hope this helps.

Of course I dare to take it，I haven’t traveled anywhere in the United States, but I rode the Flying Dinosaur that looked like a manta at Universal Studios Japan before, and it was quite interesting.

you have space mountain above kingdaka.... space mountain was a good ride 20 years ago. That is the worst ride experience I have ever been on. Bumpiest metal coaster I've ever been on and not in a good way. Not to mention the line is always 2-3 hours long. Absolute sin of a coaster in the modern day. 20 years ago though, I would say otherwise.

If they choose Zamperla they would know how to fix the problems that occurred with TT2 and technically it hopefully would be more reliable out of the gate.

It was running fantastic this past weekend. They were pumping out trains super fast and it was much smoother. The Major refurb on the trains made a big difference.

King Da Ka is a crowd pleaser and maybe great adventure will get a B&M giga but Ka is staying

Great video overall. Just one nit pick: akkording to el toro ryans math it defenetly WAS possible for intamin to replace the launch on dragster. They probably didnt do it because of marketing and gp perception. Also I havnt calculated it but im prety sure if you take red forces acceleration and put it on the launch track on ka it should work. Especially if you take Into consideration that on the strate track of ka there is both the launch and the brake for the catch car plus a little extra plus the begining of the incline can hold lsm stators like red force

This whole situation just makes no sense. This is suggesting that the park is gonna remove FIVE rides in the span of two years. There's no way Kingda Ka, Zumanjaro, Green Lantern, Twister, And the Parachuits are getting removed in that short of a time. There's no way.

I can’t lie I think the top three manufacturers at the moment are Intamin, Mack and vekoma. RMC and B&M had their days in the 2010s and 90s/2000s but they have stepped down in quality lately. Intamin are just as consistently brilliant, and Mack and vekoma have really stepped up their game

If China didn’t have an authoritarian borderline facist-communist government, I would go there in a heartbeat. Not only for coasters but for history, culture, architecture, and nature. It’s so sad how a bad government can corrupt such a beautiful nation with such a rich culture.

The only person to wear that hat better is my 2 year old niece, but that’s cos she’s objectively the cutest thing ever (apart from her 18 month old cousin, obviously)

I think all rough woodies that are boring (the RCCA woodies and more) should be RMC’d. The rough woodies with good layouts/forces/history should just be retracked (El toro, beast, etc)

If nemesis is supposed to be the second best invert, inverts must be pretty crap rides. Nemesis is incredibly overrated, rattly and boring!

I don’t mind ranking inverts based on how good they look, but basing them off forces and roughness doesn’t really make sense because you don’t have a personal experience with them

Kawasemis lifthill is much slower then other mega lites so thats probably why it didnt live up to what other people said. Ive ridden Piraten and i wouldnt say its a ripp your face off coaster but its still a fairly intense fun ride

Definitely an amazing ride and I'm actually a fan of the break run. I disagree that this ride isn't rough though. Some seats are glass smooth sure, but others are violently rough and never fail to give me a headache. I went to FujiQ on three different days, with the first day having smooth rides but the second and third day being mostly rough rides. Riding on Eejanaika feels a lot like playing the lottery on whether you gets a smooth seat or not. Luckily the line is slow like you mentioned so you have plenty of time to recover if you do get a bad seat.

How many times in the front seat and in a row did you ride Eejanaika?? I would have ridden it 50 times with the park being DOA. Wimps road it twice. Had to bust out laughing when you talked about X 2 and VelociCoaster both good at best in my option. Outstanding All Around

That motherfucking ride I got on 13 years ago I was sooo hyped to ride it but it got my heart stopping thru the inversions!! Felt like a really fast washing machine!

You actually both were lucky enough to experience a back seat ride experience on Hakugei since row 11 is the same car as row 12.

This is a great review! I’ve been looking for someone to really break down the “roughness” or lack thereof on this coaster. X2 and Dinoconda are both amazing for the most part, but they both have some violent and borderline painful roughness in some spots. I’ve heard some people say Eejanaika is rougher than X2, but if it’s just an ambient rattle that’s no big deal. When X first opened (before it was X2) it was not rough at all and it was the most amazing ride I ever experienced by far. I suspect this will be #1 for me when I get to try it. I think you will not like Dinoconda. Also the operations are even slower, with 1 dispatch every 10 to 12 minutes. It’s great that there’s so much diversity in the preferences of enthusiasts. This is also the reason why we need this level of detail in the reviews.

We should make a petition to Alan Schilkie and S&S to overhaul X² and give it the Eejanaika twist..... X⁵000........
