Good job! Im literally in a market for Samsung Frame- Im curious how well it looks in complete darkness. Can you still see the painting? Or will it illuminate a bit.
Thanks. So in a completely dark room the screen goes very dim and you can still see the painting (without it hurting your eyes). Ofcourse at this point you'll know it's a screen and not a painting so won't be fooling anyone at night.
Kudos for taking us through your TV buying decisions and review of the eventual purchase. I'm caught up between the Frame 65" vs Sony x80j 75' . The size of the Sony vs the look of the Frame is the basic dilemma. 🤯 (Sony retails for 60k extra but that's not a deal breaker.) I'm concerned about the viewing angles of the Frame as the tv is going to be in the living room. Please do share your experience of the viewing angles and a short video on the same would be highly appreciated ! Once again kudos on the real, honest experience sharing and review. Cheers.
Thanks for your kind words. On viewing angles it's pretty good unless you are at extreme angles. Having said that for now 65 inches seems plenty but in a few years you'd wish you went for the 75 inch. If you have the space then consider the 75 inch Sony or see if the 75 inch Samsung Frame is available.
@@procongrey8833 Hmm.. good to know about the viewing angles not being bad ! Ofcourse, bigger screen is definitely a temptation and enough space.. The frame 75 is exorbitantly priced at the moment. The Sony seems best value for money considering superior quality, but then again, TV won't be used too much for serious viewing... Thus the frame seemed perfect.
@@djsabs My Frame TV has managed to trick quite a few guests into thinking it's a painting. For me that's a big plus. I feel Sony does have better image processing when it comes to upscaling SD content. Sadly the Frame is not available in stores to do a direct comparison against the Sony. Good luck and let me know which one you eventually get.
Yes I'd recommend waiting for the 2022 model. Their have significantly reduced reflections making the Art mode even more believable. Hope they don't hike up the price nor delay the launch/availability.
That's a difficult one. Depends on how dark or bright you room is and if you like a bright vivid picture or something more natural. I have not played around with the settings yet and mostly toggle between filmmaker (for movies) and natural (when it's a bright day or for music videos).
Yes, it does draw power when in Art mode. I read that it's only 30% of the normal power draw when watching TV. It turns down the brightness when the room is dark so that should save a bit more power. There is also a timeout and motion sensor so when there is no one in the room it switches off the display completely. Turns back on automatically when you enter the room.
You should get in touch with Samsung. I've heard this from others too. Could be a quality issue. Yes because it's Edge-lit you wont get good blacks but I'm not seeing a noticable backlight bleed on my TV. Samsung was pretty responsive when I raised a complaint on the remote mic.
Yes, this is the 2021 model, which is thinner and had more memory than the 2020 model. Have a check on when the 2022 model will be available before making your decision.
@ProCon Grey that's really cool, wise choice. the 2021 model was a great upgrade from it's predecessor, yeah now I'm looking forward to get the 2022 model right in time to purchase for the upcoming World Cup this year, anyways great job with this channel and keep growing man, wishing you great luck!!
Hello Sir I have recently purchased a new 65 inch frame tv and do device care and self diagnosis everyday. Is it good or bad to perform these regularly?

Hey Nice Video...
Should I wait for The Frame 2022?
Yes I'd recommend waiting for the 2022 model. Their have significantly reduced reflections making the Art mode even more believable. Hope they don't hike up the price nor delay the launch/availability.
And if possible tell all its features and proper settings for the best experience. Thank You 🙂

When in "art" mode is the tv using power or not?

What soundbar are you using??
Ah, that's the JBL 9.1 I'm planning on doing a review of that soon.
I have recently bought frame tv 2021 and this tv has screen light bleeding issues.

It's honestly not required. I only run device care when I feel it gets a bit laggy. I'd say run it once or twice a month.
@@procongrey8833 ok thanks
