I just joined today and I’m so excited, Leon seems really awesome we haven’t actually spoken but I’ve watched some interviews and I think what he’s doing is so admirable and I finally feel like I have a chance to really learn. I’ve been doing self paced free courses but I’ve really wanted something live and instructor led with real classmates I could interact with, so I feel as though 100 devs will be a game changer for me. I don’t have money for a bootcamp and I really thought I was shit outta luck until coming across 100 devs, I’m super excited!

I think my problem all my life has been that I do have TECH skills but not the "soft" skills. That makes it impossible to get the "entry level". Getting more and more technically qualified gets me more and more screwed.

I have a Network certification already and I'm telling you humans that learning all the functionality of the cloud will not be done in 10 days, you can memorize the services, but you "NEED" to know the functionality of these services. If you don't know any networking you will not be effective on a job.

I needed this so bad! Wanting to pivot into tech and nervous about how I will study and retain. First class I took was a combo class for all the CompTIA certs online, I got through Hardware and software, but didn’t make it to Network and Cybersecurity. 😪😪😪 I’m beating myself up about not finishing the class, but it was a PAIN and I was distracted constantly.

I have seen many job opportunities that I am qualified for, but I was unaware of the available courses because I never paid attention due to my ADHD and scattered brain. I worked with a Black woman that handled the help desk in the 90s. I was the computer and network tech. Sometimes we were even sent to tech classes at some vendor together. She told me that she was not interested in computers. She just learned what she had to for the job. I started building electronics when I was in high school. I did stuff at home with computers and electronics because what most companies do with them to make money just ain't that interesting.

Thank you for a realistic and well planned out method. There are so many variable resources and methods and I get lost in trying to configure a good way to do all of this! I am coming with minimal tech experience and my goal is to get into Cyber Security at some level and work my way up to a remote position. I am beginning my studies and truly needed a tested and methodical way to study, and understand how to approach this material.

Another I love that you had on if that by getting a blood certification it does give you a foundation for different arenas which like you mentioned so you don’t have to focus on one IT area a different area meet interest you and you go in that direction thank you so much

I just want to say that this is my goto video when I️t comes to studying. Being someone who is also coding, and watching you study in a REAL looking environment and not something that feels fabricated really helps me focus. I don't know the science behind I️t but thank you!

I don’t have much of experience in tech but I have tons of customer service and basic computer proficiency but I have noticed I’m not hearing back even tho I have 9 years of customer service which is why I’m going for my Comptia I really want to get into tech. I just haven’t put much effort into LinkedIn I don’t post or share stories in there so I’m a bit scared no one’s going to really look at my profile even if I fix it up a bit

This just makes me realize I haven’t really put much work into LinkedIn I just have it but I never had a job that I gotten on there cause I lack the skills I’m only now working towards trying to get into tech and getting my Comptia my LinkedIn looks pretty horrible and my picture is so serious and bland lol I want to do something more meaningful tho so I’m fixing it up.
