Hey ausi, I went through this video last week Monday and I bought the Whizlabs course. Those practice tests really helped, I got certified on Thursday.
I have a Network certification already and I'm telling you humans that learning all the functionality of the cloud will not be done in 10 days, you can memorize the services, but you "NEED" to know the functionality of these services. If you don't know any networking you will not be effective on a job.
Thank you ..i am finishing up my MBA in MIS and I also realize company are not calling me for IT roles I want.....guess what i have a 3.9 GPA ha ha...I am going to start my Comptia A+ in January..thanks so much..keep your videos coming its helping me..i just subscribed

Its stupid how these virtual days are during the workweek. I dont see any for the weekend. Would i be able to join the training webinar and just leave it running in the background to get the free exam voucher? Looking to get into azure but dont want to spent the $100 for a fundamentals cert.

I took a Virtual training of AZ 900 for two days (part1 & part2) but I didn't get a discount. Microsoft just sent me an email, thanking me for attending . What may be the problem?
its amazing how your subscriber are low..but we have rappers who's subscribers are higher.....misplaced priorities..i want to spend my time learning and getting paid
I just checked their website and confirmed they still give test vouchers after the Fundamentals virtual training days you may want to check your email and see if you can find a support team to email
I would recommended the CompTIA certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+) for the entry level jobs. These Microsoft certifications would probably be more helpful once you already have some experience and are ready to move past an entry level role. If you have any other questions let me know!
@@DomsTechChat So I’m in the process of switching to a different career, I graduated with a M.S. in Engineering. I’m debating if I should go back to school for a bachelors in IT /Computer Science or should I just start with the courses you provided? I don’t have any experience with IT.
You definitely shouldn’t have to get another bachelor’s most hiring managers would see an engineering degree and assume you had to take some technical courses. For your scenario I would definitely recommend going the certifications/self-study just to give you the foundational skills you might be missing. Also, keep applying! Once you get that first job you should definitely be able to leverage that degree to move up quickly!
Consulting companies need certified people to maintain their Microsoft Gold/ Silver partnerships so, someone that already has those certifications enter their company it's really a time and money saving for them that have to buy you vouchers and give you time to study... In my case, Ii quit university before finishing it so certifications are super important and a plus to my resume (I'll never be without job with IT but it helps me to getter better ones)
