How to add Slime tyre sealant to tubes with Presta valves without removing the tyre or tube
Переглядів 111 тис.4 роки тому
In this video I'll show you how you can easily add Slime tyre sealant to an inner tube with Presta valves with removable cores, without the need for special tools or adapters, and without having to remove the tyre or the tube from the wheel rim. Thank you, thinking of getting one for my farm, you have convinced me What size is yours please. I'm looking at one up from smallest
Just saw one of these for the first time today and considering it to go around my hot tub thanks for the review
This video made me want to buy one. I can't wait !!! THANKS for sharing
I just had a brainwave!..why not just dig a thin shallow trench all around the outside to stop the rain coming in at the bottom?..would save all that hassle with tiles? - :)
Olá e a temperatura de verão não aquece muito?
What is the thickness of this dome material?
Śnieżka is not Czech Republic!!!! Sorry guys please check correctly on internet or on old fashion way I books or maps. Enjoy
Great tip on removable valve vs non. Could you not just use a Presta/Schrader adaptor to help make the clear tube fit? (maybe its a dumb idea for a reason I don't realise yet) Thx for the vid 🤩
I wonder how well this works for stargazing. Anyone have any input?
How do u do the other ones
What you on about what’s presser mean
Good tips here but for those of us who never had any idea that presta valves come in two varieties, showing the actual removal of the valve would make this video much more complete.
I wonder how is it working in a hot areas.
What is the point of there isn't a bed in there to sleep under the stars!
Great video, can you tell me how big is you dome? I’m buying the 3.5m diameter one, hope it wouldn’t be too small.
Thanks. This one is the S which is the 3.6m one. Perfect size!
seams like a hot box in Texas heat how does it stay livable
Grate video. Śnieżka is in Poland😊
But what do I do if my valve core isn’t removable?
Great video, congrats for the channel! Can you guys please send me assembly instructions manual? It will be much appreciated!
Great video, congrats for the channel! Can you guys please send me assembly instructions manual? It will be much appreciated!
I like it!
Can you wax it like you would a car?
Wow! This is really cool 😀
THANK YOU SO MUCH
How its going? Still worth it?
Śnieżka from Poland
Hi is that the small or medium dome? I was hoping to get one too😊
Brilliant idea, nice job
I wonder how one of these would fair where I live with 40 to 45c summers
It looks very cozy! What size dome is it you have? I see that they are being sold in three sizes: Mini, S and M, but it's a bit difficult to see from the pictures on the web page how spacious they are.
This is the S you see in the video. We've had 6 people seated comfortably inside.
@@chrisdevereuxThank you; that's very helpful!
@@chrisdevereux By the way, can I ask you if you are happy with the size? If you would have bought it today, would you buy the same size or a different one?
@@kristoferkrus Yes very happy. It fits the space we have and is not so big that it makes it too difficult to build or keep clean. Obviously if you want to hold big dinner parties etc, then the bigger the better 😉
Hola! Cómo se ancla al suelo para que no salga volando?
Wow..wts use for ?
@ChrisDevereux hi there . Have you made any upgrades to your dome? Ive added the port door. Wow that was an adventure for sure.
Love the look of the port door, looks so much easier than the zip and roll method! Do you like it? We added a shade-sail for temperature management in the summer. It still gets warm, but is more bearable without direct sunlight hitting you.
@chrisdevereux yes loving the port door. It s way easier to get in and out. And the dog loves it too. I will add a screen door (one with a magnetic center in the summer months to keep the bugs out). We have a sunsail as well. It does help. I have also added a window that opens. That keeps the ventilation for the summer as well. I see they now have a wood stove. But that is only for the M model. I think it might be easy to add a tiny wood stove with a few personal modifications to the S model.
I have a window but never got around to fitting it, would you recommend? A stove would be lovely but I fear it would take up a lot of space, what with having to be certain distance from the dome. I wonder if that's why they haven't released one for the S 🤔
Hi Chris, please tell me what is the thickness of the panels? How many millimeters?
Hi I want to build my own dome for my Garden. Can I see pictures from the door frame . That would be very helpful . Thanks in advance
How many time or yours does it need to assembly or disassembly?
We've never taken it down since we built it.
Awful vide, not even show how the valve core is removed
What flat edges?????
im just going to put a syrine and needle, and just inject it in then puncture repair it might take a while, but fuck doing all this bullshit
This stuff is useless it dont work
This was brilliant thank you, we have a farm in the scottish borders and are just about to build one in the woods
I missed where you will tell us if you would buy it again...😁. I need one big enough to fit around my 24' pool!
Since it (supposedly) has UV protection, I would like to know if you have experience on growing plants inside (they need the UV radiation for photosynthesis). Thanks for your video. Miguel
Thanks. I don't personally have experience of growing anything inside the dome but I do know my furniture colour has faded - So does that mean UV gets in?
Thanks for your answer. I would say yes. I think the dome looks great and your tips are awesome! I think I’m getting one! 😍
I give up. Going to buy another inner tube. No slim for me.
Those ufo-like building is POLISH and on the polish side of the border. True is that this summit is in fact Śnieżka. It would be nice if You could correct it. Best regards. ❤
Apparently, there's this polycarbonate adhesive known as Lexel that you probably could have used to bond the panels together for a permanent watertight seal. You wouldn't have any algae growth at the joints and pressure washing wouldn't be a problem.
Wouldn't this result in damage when the wind pushes the dome from outside to inside?
I would silicone each seems so green stuff 😂 doesn’t grow in between
I’ve done silconed mine and the green still gets in despite that. I have the much large Glamping dome. Best way is to have a 2 person system to clean each side, loosening, cleaning and re-tightening the panels. This is a must to keep it clean.
It's also possible to remove the valve using the base of a chain link extractor. Just the right size.
First try ever with slime or presta valves, worked great for 4 tires! No mess!
Had ours now for two years through wind, rain and snow. They are absolutely brilliant. If you live in a windy area as we do, they are a godsend on a windy sunny day. Totally windproof and waterproof.
did you heat it when very cold outside? wondering about condensation control. Thank you
Occasionally but during the period November to March it doesn’t get much use and yes there is a lot of condensation. But the only effect would be on any fabrics left inside. Once a year, usually a warm day in May we jet wash outside and give the inside a good clean.
