Thank you for making this @monaime! I've followed the instructions on latest blender 4.2.2, installed Easy hdri as addon & chose the hdr folder, but when i click create world nodes the hrd isnt added to my project? All i've done before that is deleted the cube & loaded a plane. Im a newbie to blender so am probably missing something obvious. Any ideas? thanks

Hey! I don't if you heard but Quixel Megascans will be closing their Bridge app and going for something called "Fab" sometime in the middle of this month. Quixel is letting all their assets, including their army of materials/textures, go for free. I was wondering if Easy PBR can "read" all the materials from a local machine. I know the Local option is there but it looks like its just for AmbientCG. Or if not, I should work with any material; because these Megascan textures/materials are PBRs so was wondering with Easy PBR will read them OK. Uhhh...asking for a friend lol :D

Thanks for the addon. I am having issues with the addon on Blender 4.2. I thought I sent an email via Gumroad but I don't think it got through. I get an error "No module named 'charset_normalizer.api' when trying to activate the addon. I redownloaded and reinstalled the addon and no go. In Preferences, it labels the addon as "Legacy (User)" instead of "Extension". What am I doing wrong?

I can't seem to install the addon: I downloaded the latest version from Gumroad, installed it through the add-on menu in Preferences, the addon shows up but when I try to enable it it says that a file is missing - [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified: 'C:\\Users\\********\\AppData\\Roaming\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\4.2\\scripts\\addons\\EasyHDRI.py'

o i try to put it in blender 4.2 i downlpaded the right version i can not see anything in the toolbar :(

there is an issue. In blend files with two or more scenes, HDRI node can exists only in one scene, ( it is deleted automatically from bpy.data on FIX or CREATE ), please introduce 3rd option "REUSE" >>>> # Reuse EasyHDRI World def reuse_world_nodes( context ): worlds = bpy.data.worlds world = worlds.get('EasyHDRI') if world is not None: context.scene.world = world # Load Image load_image(context) # Update BG Display props = context.scene.easy_hdri_props bg = props.easyhdr_bg_display props.easyhdr_bg_display = bg

awsome!! is the sun lamp option only for eevee? can be usefull the same way for cycles? anfd what if i want to use the hdri for lighting only and another enviroment texture for camera view like i used to do with light path, is it possible with the addon?

Hi, I installed the ANIMAX 2.0.1 version on Blender 3.6 and 3.3, I do all the various steps following your tutorial, but when I get to minute 2.45 of the tutorial listed above and press play, the animation doesn't start. How come? Thanks

what will happen if i try to use version 2.0 or higher on blender version 3.6?

unfortunately not working in Blender 4.1, mac. Library says it'"s valid, python error on adding available assets to library

function "Bake to keyframes" when i try to use it is always raising an error ..am i doing wrong or there is a bug ? (v2.3 blender 4.1.1), btw very helpfull addon.

what was used for the flares in the outro video?

I tied installing. It said wrong path bor the directory and I tried it three diffrent ways and even open and closed blender. And my PBR folder is empty.

performance playback is worse in this version i hope it gonna fix soon and i realize there is no delete invisible button in my version 2.3.0
