No matter what style or way you play it wont fix the dogsh*t combat system. Even with the followers mod a 3v6 fails as i get rushed by 4 and the locking mech just fuc*s everything. Autolock on the furthest enemy away instead of the fu*k right infront of me thats in the middle of hacking my head...😂. Yea lets keep backing up..enemy just rushes you in a clinch you cant counter lol not to mention just straight running right into you like an idiot.

Once you learn masterstrikes you can beat every opponent in the game with one button.

I started playing KCD this month and I discovered that riding your horse back and forth towards your enemies stabbing them with a long sword at full force as you go past them is VERY effective. You never have to get off your horse if you lure them out (preferably to an open field) keep your speed up and not letting them grab you. Timing is early and 1 or 2 stabs should kill most bandits.

The first time i won the tournament i waited til very late game. When he ambushed me i didn't even recognize him and defeated him in like 15 seconds.

I’m currently re playing KCD ready for KDC2 and as always, the best way to handle camps is slap your armour on, find the biggest weapon you can and charge in head on, done all the bandit camps and 2 Cuman camps without dieing once, get good guys and don’t be a p*ssy 😂

Я часа 2 пытался убить разбойников и их главаря, но меня каждый раз убивал глава разбойников. В итоге после 2 часов я решил просто подождать ночи и задушить их всех. Смешно, что я смог задушить главаря, снять с него броню и забрать оружие, а он в итоге все равно встал и побежал на меня😂

Had just started playing KCD when I found this video, I was way past having to run after Capon. To say I floundering would be a really nice way to put it, made the choice to restart with the story after this video. With what I had learned the hard way and this video it has made a massive difference and was well worth the effort, it was a learning curve for me and Henry. Well done and thought out video!

Click the tilde key on keyboard, type wh_pl_showfirecursor 1 Press Enter. You get a targeting dot when you next draw your bow. Only for PC though.

I was so angry on the hardcore playthrough when I beat him and didn't get his bow.

In real life, and if you're wearing full plate, mail and padded armor, you're basically invulnerable against weapons like swords. You CAN NOT penetrate high quality, high carbon, hardened plates. It is impossible.

Fun fact: Henry doesn't need to "know alchemy" whatever that means lol. You can make any potion if you have the ingredients. Just look up potions online and skip buying the recipe in game.

if there is one thing that can make or break the enjoyment of the game if you havent played it before. and i cannot stress this enough. DONT rush, dont be in a hurry, tackle this game as slow as you can and dont ever try to get furher into the game as if you approach other games, take your time and just do what is fun in the game, explore everything, just walk around, dont try to get to the next quest just to finish the game, it will break your fun very fast

Your reputation with the traders will change also if you do quests. thats why it was higher. Some main quests gives you high reputation. Example: After defeating Runt. Most of Rattay will have much higher rep stats.

I was riding a horse and thinking of whether the game has wire traps for horse riders and just the moment I thought of it it got me >< I play hardcore, so I didn't manage to dodge his first poisoned strike and I only realized that he poisoned me, because my hud began to change to red. So I finished the bastard fast, get on my horse and get to the apothecary to buy an antidote. Drank it when I had 2hp literally. The emotions the game gives are one of a kind, can't wait for the pt 2.

You can have Theresa go on a murder spree in the DLC and because Henry sees his fellow villagers before oyu start that, some people Theresa kills are obviously still alive for Henry.
