Odd. I also got a Delrin bushing, but it's not this one. Mine doesn't have a retaining clip instead it supposed to snap in. It doesn't snap in cause it fouls on the bracket...but anyway. Real pain in the ass job.

Just discovered the SP2 last night while browsing the web.... That is a really sexy looking car. Its grossly underpowered, But I am pretty sure that a Subaru boxer engine could be shoehorned in there. Either way, I am perfectly fine with trading speed for style.

My father had a red SP2 convertible back in 1988, he did trade for a green brazilia and got some cash in return. He passed away a few years after that in 1993. I was about 4 years old but I have this memory of a Sunday morning, my dad was washing his SP2 and I was inside playing with the steering wheel pretending I was driving.

With the fan sitting inside the shroud, haven’t you effectively blocked any airflow around the fan because the fan itself has a shroud that blocks outside its diameter from getting pulled through? I’d think surface mounting the fan on the cookie sheet is the only way to allow all air through the fan to

Beautiful sports car! I have never seen one of these. It looks like a combination of a Porsche 911 with a 1977 AMC Pacer. I love Pacers, Porsches, and European sports cars! Don saying Howdy from Texas USA. I owned a 1977 AMC Pacer D/L 2-door sports coupe, black and silver 2-tone paint, black interior, with sports package including steering wheel from the AMC Javelin, sports wheels, with the 258-cid inline Six and Torqueflite floor shift, from 1990 to 1996. It was a lot of fun to drive! I drive a 2002 Pontiac Firebird sports car with a V6 and 5-speed stick shift.

I know its a type 3 chassis variant, so the engine is a T1 (Beetle) with different cooling tin. Could you imagine dropping in a T4?!! Would fly with type 4 pancake motor
