Before and after home flip on another property we bought in Detroit. we purchased this house for $62k and put a little over $20k in renovation costs between labor and materials. The arv in this particular area is $160k, which leaves us with a potential profit of around $78k.

We took 6 ( of our 8 ) kids to Hocking Hills, Ohio. We rented a beautiful luxury log cabin in the woods, through Airbnb. We went hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park, and then we checked out Foxe's Petting Farm. The kids also had a lot of fun chilling in the jacuzzi, balloon fights, and roasting marshmallows on the bond fire. Had a great time, and it's only a 4 1/2-hour drive from Michigan.

Part 4 of our current house flip. In this video, I'm with 4 of my sons dropping off more kitchen cabinets. The house is about a week from being completed, it just needs the floors redone and the carpet put down, and a few touch-ups here and there.

Part 3 of the amazing house flip in Detroit. In this video, I'm picking out the tile for the kitchen from Floor Decor and installing the security system. The primer and sanding are done and ready for paint. They painted the basement ceiling and walls already, just need to finish the floor for the basement to be complete.

First day of renovation. We started off with the clean-out and demo of the property. We also got the yard work done. It took two 40-yard dumpsters to clean out the house. Second day we got all the plumbing updated to pex and pvc, and then the paint prep.

The officer is making up stuff. The owner does not have to take a squatter to court. I had the same issue, called DPD and they removed the squatter right then. I hate when people give misinformation!!!

I was listening to a real estate mogul. He was looking at somebody in Florida that got a squatter out. They had some woman that they hired to show the police that she actually had a lease to rent out the house. You go get a lease from somebody that you rent the house out from predating the other ladies lease, and she hast to go because of that point she would be trespassing. The other thing that my granddad used to do back in the day, he would take the doors off of House. He will get a tenant that wouldn’t pay rent, the doors would come off.

@@allusmahnkes8126 Yeah the way he hung those cabinets was just disrespectful unless dawg was like 6'8 and couldn't tell the difference 😂 At least he only wasted a couple sheets of backsplash unless they can be reused - You ever looking for a investor/partner for the flips? I usually buy about 2-3 a year and got a few good connects. I'm in the D too
That basement looks like they had some water issues that is being painted over to hide. I hope they fixed the leaks.

This is why tenants that rent in Detroit have so many problems. A lot of these inexperienced people buying houses trying to flip for a quick buck and nothing is up to code. All of that work is shoddy.

How did you find your contractors?
@brebre14621 I just kept using different contractors until I found the one's I liked. I find them through Facebook or Craigslist. Sometimes through other people
They need to change the law for squatters rights. This is just ridiculous. It's breaking an entering is what it is. I can't believe anyone could just break into a house, change the locks, and write up a lease, and have a free place to live for God knows how long, until they're legally evicted. That is just insane!!
