Your battery may not have shown up in your cardboard box with a full charge. Wait....what happened to the solar install? So the 'Solar System Upgrade' was putting in a new battery? hmmmmm What kind of solar panels you got? What kind of Solar charger? Are you going to get another battery, and run them in series, and get 24v? More juice, and smaller cable connections. You don't more amp capacity, but you get higher volts. Between the 12v batteries you need the bigger wires, but wires going into inverter can be smaller, and all others. Just when you Dc-Dc down to 12v, is when you need the bigger wires. You could get two more, run them in series, then the two sets of series, run them in parallel. So many options. You do have a smaller trailer so one battery is enough I suppose. ✌

When installing a new battery everyone knows you need hold a wrench between the negative and positive terminals to equalize the charge

That is due to the cohesion and surface tension properties of water. The molecules stick to themselves and are drawn together by a force. This is why when you put a small amount of water on glass it forms a single droplet instead of spreading out. Surface tension is the phenomenon party due in part to cohesion that causes the water to stop flowing. The easiest way to picture this is when u fill up a cup just past the rim but it isnt overflowing. If you poked the water bubble on top lightly the same thing would happen. Surface tension of the water is broken and it would slowly drip over the side.
