You don´t loose any pressure. Its because the hose fills with air when you flip the switch. Don´t put more inside then needed.

I’ve got a metal one that doesn’t have the little switch and whenever I try to take it off after reaching my psi all the air comes out, what do I do?

Hmmm good question. I would think it’s a malfunction. If you got it on Amazon I would ask to get a new one

I use it all the time and it works great. It’s made of metal, and the air tube is rubber.

No I didn’t, but honestly that’s a good idea to see how accurate the budget pump is

this isn’t really considered a budget pump. bmw supplied these under the seat of their motorcycles for quite awhile and still sells them and they cost $250 from them
