Mike also fired Kevin Rooney and took Buster Douglas for granted, like a warm up fight for Holyfield. But Buster Douglas’s mother just died and that put the fire of God into him. It was a combination of factors. Mike also pretty much totally abandoned his defense. I’ve watched the fight probably over 50 times.

Don’t forget Buster Douglas didn’t simply K.O Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson actually knocked out Buster Douglas before Douglas was spared by the referee by given Buster Douglas a prolonged 10 count. That’s what happens when you have a human making decisions. Because, everyone has some sort of biases. And, that ref didn’t like Mike Tyson

Leslie and Kenan as husband and wife were always some of my favourite sketches 😂. They worked well together but I always loved them as couples coz their chemistry was always chaotic and dysfunctional

Buster beat the shit out of Mike that night... He could have beaten a lot of great fighters in that version of him... Hard jab heavy right hands hence Mike's eye was swollen and that uppercut was nasty... Plus Mike was partying with Bobby Brown with those Asian women SMH..
