I really enjoyed this episode because we finally got a chance to see Leslie in her calmest and vulnerable state. Her family is so loving ❤

Im guessing my sons kids will have the opposite of this story. Thankfully he wont have to be passing to have a good life. He was raised black and is black on paper. All my grandchildren and so forth will be black as well no matter their skin tone!!! I say this because we are the ones he calls family and raised with. Yes he knows he is white as well but when it comes down to it he is black. I cant imagine how hard that must have been. Leaving everyone behind and then to lie to keep her near. Your grandmother showed her love the bestbway she could during that time. 😢😢😢 thank you for sharing.

The swag bag reminded me of this story.
I used to work with this lady who sold medicare supplement insurance on the side. She always had a trunk full of swag to entice new customers. One afternoon, towards the end of a very long day, I was complaining about being tired and I just wanted to go home and go straight to bed but I had to stop at the store first. I had used the last of my deodorant that morning and I had to get some for the next day. No problem, she said. I got you, come by my car after work. I'll be damned, that bitch had travel size deodorant with the insurance company logo on it. I was thrilled!! I didn't have to stop at the store. I hugged her, I kissed her, I thanked her a hundred times and then I went straight home and crawled in the bed.
Next day, around lunch time, I started getting a wiff every now and then of body odor. It got worse as the day progressed. And then I started smelling it everywhere! At my desk, break room, elevator, ladies room, everywhere!!! I was trying to figure out who was in all those places when I was there. But it seemed like the only constant was me. That couldn't be. I showered and shaved my pits that morning and I put on my deodorant. Ah fck! I used that cheap ass, no name, not for sale, promotional items only deodorant that my friend gave me. Son of a bitch!! It was me!!
Be careful with the swag deodorant. You get what you pay for.
