I was listening to one of the episodes while in one of my stores I audit and Leslie said something in the episode I can’t remember what it was but I literally laughed out loud and I think the people in the aisle thought I was crazy. (Had my airpods in so they likely didn’t know what I was listening to) lol.

I am happy that I saw this podcast because I never would have known how cool Mary Carrillo is. She has always been a great interviewer but it was so nice to see her on the other side of the interview. Mary has game! Her friendship with Leslie is genuine and it shows. You're right about being in the Olympic track n field arena...I was at the 96 Atlanta games and it was MAGICAL in the stadium with the Olympic flame during sunset...SO beautiful!! And we got to see Michael Johnson race n win a GOLD medal 🏅

My favorite moment was Leslie voicing how she is held to the highest standards. She is correct. What is she supposed to do when folks let her down? Why can’t she be who she is? I wish people wouldn’t hold folks that desire and achieve things to different standards. Why can’t folks just let people be themselves? Let them live and have normal reactions like every other person.
Just because she has worked hard to get where she is, no one should expect her to act like a Saint. We all are not always perfect and sometimes we let ourselves and others down.
A lot of people need to Grow up! Check your own behavior before providing unsolicited comments about others. We are all grown and know what is right and wrong. Let folks live! We all mess up. But how we handle the mess ups and disappointments say a-lot about our own characters.
If you want to correct and tell folks how to feel you need to step back and deal with your own self.
If you don’t like my tone and my personality…stay away. If you can not be honest with yourself and others… leave them along. If you can be level headed and accept people in spite of what or where you think folks may be.
I hope that Leslie and Lennie return for a Second Season.

Man! I would’ve never guessed that you’d have Mary as a guest! I’ve been a fan of hers since HBO Real Sports. She’s a natural. I’ve only known her as a sports commentator, I had no idea she was an athlete herself. That explains her confidence and composure. Mary is ageless with that easy smile and tall . . . Whew!
I’m a thousand percent sure Leslie was on my radar before the a Olympics but she was going off in Rio. Her sports correspondence was flat out hilarious! There is definitely value in connecting with the viewership by saying exactly what everyone is thinking when everyone else is sanitizing their expression for consumption.
Season Two!! Lock these negotiations down. The world needs the Fckry to expose the literal fuckery in the world. If you can get it I think your closing outro could be the Amy Winehouse song What Kind of Fuckery Is This?

Mary Carillo is the most annoying tennis commentator. She is more about speaking non-sense and gossips rather than professional comments on the match. She likes to look up weird quotes and say them during matches. These days she giggles so much that you need to mute when she is commentating.
Not sure who has been lying to Leslie all these years. She is proof misogyny isn't a problem.
