You Can Never Imagine the Daily Cost in China's University
This is a day in the life of a Chinese University student, Yire. Thanks to our energetic, enthusiastic, kind and hard-work girl Yire. Her optimistic life attitude makes this video successfully finished, and we have become friends since then.
Our beautiful day started at 6 a.m. We had a special breakfast consisting of local delicacies at the university cafeteria and then rushed off to class, always narrowly avoiding being late. I also got a glimpse into her dorm room, where we gained insight into student accommodation in China. We then had lunch at the most popular cafeteria on campus, where the prices were incredibly affordable, and delicious. We visited the library then, which was packed with students, making it challenging for us to find seats. Finally, over dinner, Yire shared her story, including her charity organization and her journey from a rural area to the city.
At the end of the day, though we finish our record, Yire still needed to go to her part time job place. We aim to present the reallest situation of Chinese ordinary college students. thanks to Yire, we made it.

From Pakistan. Plz mention only one university for mechatronic engineering in china. I'll wait for you.
As another student (albeit foreign) in China, it's so interesting to see how different our schools and lives can be, even though we're both in college in China
Beautiful calligraphy 🌹
Since China is so isolated they get very little exposure to english even if they learn it, they never use it
Good Job!

You did not tell us how much it cost.
Everyone is a master nowadays
I like night markets in China
I hope they can interview me. Although I am still far from the top 1 school, I still feel a little ashamed 😅. I don’t want other people in the world to understand us like this. I don’t want to admit that this situation is true.
Hey families, thx for watching our new series about how to enjoy the life in China like a real Chinese, if you have any suggestions about the video, such as what kind of guide you would like to see, please leave the comment.

im a foreign born chinese and i bet i speak my ethnic language better than ANY other foreign born and raised person can speak THEIR country's language. Im better than ALLA YAAA!!!! in fact i i think i speak it SOO much better than u that i should start classes for foreign born people on how to maintain their native language, and charge MILLIONS for it. imma become damn filthy rich over people who are obviously way more intellectually inferior than me xDD
nahhhh do NOT be like that u arrogant BITCH
Who does blud think she/he is, you’re not the main character lil bro 😭🙏🏻
Where in China is this?
I recently learned that Mao Zedong is still idolized in China. I assumed Mao's achievements were fairly evaluated. However, the education system seems to not teach critically about the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. I am disappointed.
“the education system seems to not teach critically about the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution.” Im glad you use the word ’seems,' Because these two periods of history are described in Chinese middle school history textbooks and evaluations by future generations are given.
I'm curious about what kind of life ¥2000 can afford in China. Can it cover anything other than food, such as clothes and entertainment?
Accomodation costs for Chinese students in China are minimal. Usually no more than 3000 yuan per year in many universities. Food costs are far lower than in western countries such a as the UK. Generally that's enough to cover the basics. Personally I wouldn't be able to live in the shared rooms to be fair, despite the low cost.
Consumerism is a complex issue with both positive and negative aspects. On the one hand, it can lead to economic growth and prosperity. On the other hand, it can also lead to environmental degradation, social inequality, and personal debt.
0:12 Engel coefficient lol, he must be am economy student
Can university students become the party members?
they can
I hope she can achieve her dreams in China.
Intense stares, requests for photos, and even touching skin or hair are all due to the fact that most Chinese people have rarely seen black people.
The reason behind this phenomenon is that the Chinese people are curious about different culture, and in general, there is no social distance in China.
Her first choice was the US, but it seems that China has not let her down.
Thanks to Sinachi for accepting our interview. She is very kind and I hope she has a successful time studying in China.
You’re welcome ☺️

Must be miserable in china when this is how they think of each other
Yo here in Singapore you can find a gf in like 2-3 days or even 1 day Dating in china is like very hard bro
can you ask about dowry's. i saw some girls asking for 2-5m. Is that normal or was it just propaganda to make china look greedy/entitled.
well, Bride price is still common in many rural areas of China. This is a complex issue with many historical and contemporary factors, and it has led to many interesting social phenomena. I will discuss this further when I talk about the decline in marriage and fertility rates in China. Please subscribe me so you don't miss it. In addition, except for extreme cases, the bride price for ordinary people is generally around 100,000 RMB, and even wealthy families will not be as high as 2 million.
The more men around the more young girls want to stay single EXCEPT for handsome guys.
On one hand, I truly admire how committed many Chinese girls are to themselves in the first place, waiting cautiously for a potential partner to share their lives with, rather than giving in to the traditional path. On the other hand, though, it's sad because this is probably not an easy decision to be taken vis-à-vis the widespread and still persistent disapproval of those who take a more independent and "libertarian" approach to life and relationships. I'm a +30-year-old 老外 who has recently started a serious (and promising) relationship with a Chinese girl approaching her "leftover title," and there are many hurdles we have to go through due to different cultural backgrounds and current social phenomena. The usual criteria imposed by her parents (namely, a rich and well-established Beijing guy who owns an apartment and a house) frustrate and stress her and, of course, me deeply. We have to first build ourselves financially to hopefully convince them we're good for each other. This makes sense once marriage is on the table, but what bothers me as a Westerner is the overvalued financial aspect that the man is supposed to have to only then be deemed as a "good guy," a keeper, or a good match. There's so much to unpack from this. I think you guys are doing great, and many of these societal and cultural topics would definitely help people like me understand Chinese society better and also benefit from it. I truly appreciate this video and this channel's content. You deserve more subscribers.
I appreciate your thoughtful comment. This is exactly why we put so much effort into our videos. In China, people place great importance on financial security in relationships, especially in marriage. This is related to Chinese culture, and your foreigner status may cause them some anxiety. However, there is another Chinese saying: "Sincerity is the ultimate killer move." I hope you can show your sincerity to your girlfriend's Chinese parents as much as possible. This will be very helpful. good luck.
Some say love it is a river😘~
The gender gap is a big problem
young generations have more choice and they are following their hearts rather than parents
@@sd9987ss They might be follwing their hearts more but are still largely subject to peer pressure from folks of the very same current generation. Many still adhere to the traditional path out of desperation, anxierty, or conformity; so, arguably, many of those who wish to follow their hearts end up giving in.
