I think they should have an overseas quota. Something like a maximum of 3 overseas olayers in any given squad. That way players could gain experience abroad but also know that it may hamper their chances of playing for England.

Great coach at first, and that 18 game run was phenomenal. But the last year something clearly wasn't right and he didn't have the nous to make changes. Also became blinkered with selections and stopped picking in form players. Dan Robson comes to mind. He was the best scrum half for a couple of seasons but couldn't get a look in. And towards the end Jones' inability to bring youth through was frustrating. You've got to simultaneously look after the here and now, and the future.

On letting players play abroad. You create depth by letting them go. You enlarge the pool of Profesional players, and their careers are also funded by foreign clubs. It can work depending on how deep you think your local talent pool actually is.

Not picking overseas player affected South Africa so they changed the rules. NZ have world class players playing overseas who would have made the ABs stronger this season. I'd have a rule that if a player has 50 international caps, they should be eligible. They've served their country and should get the max amount of money they can get.

The springboks at the moment I think are the best team of all time and would beat any all black team in history. The all blacks have dominated the sport since time immemorial but the current bok outfit keeps getting better and better. I could definitely see the springbok second team beating the all blacks first 15, they've always had the best defence and if they pair that with an ever more threatening attack, they will be a dominant force.

Mike Brown is incredibly insightful and knows his rugby. It seems that all the most abrasive personas on the pitch that polarize opinions off it, Dan Biggar, Sexton, Brown have such calm intellectual demeanors off the field. Would love to see Owen Farrell open up in this sort of style as well.

As a South African, I will not agree with the second team beating NZ. No way. SA are becoming more consistent and the cultural change in SA where the whole population are rugby supporters and a pool from which players are sourced. So it makes sense we would dominate.
