I disagree with him, I personally know people that have been carnivore for most of their life and they are way healthier than the general population ! There have been human populations that have been mostly carnivore and have done much better that the plant based populations for ages. I'm not carnivore but 4 years ago changed from a long time plant based diet and worsening health to an animal based foods diet keeping fermented foods keeping some veggies, nuts and berries and my health has improved dramatically!

Over a decade ago, I was losing my hair and was told that I had scarring hair loss and that the hair follicles were scarring over and that my hair would not grow back. Over a decade later, I started carnivore and my hair started growing back (and stopped falling out in handfuls) in just 3 weeks! Right when I started carnivore, I went off of the two hair growth prescriptions I was on, never really did much. It has been 9 weeks and I'm still seeing progress, especially with my hairline filling back in. I"m a 55 year old women, so you can imagine how ecstatic I am! I could go on about the positive results I've seen on carnivore.

I dont pay much attention to the carnivore videos. I've commented numerous times and found them quickly deleted. Others have noted this as well. If that isnt a huge red flag I dont know what is. There preying on the ignorance of the public. True healing and not just the absence of symptoms comes from a plant based diet which few look thoroughly enough into.In short as your video exposes, the carnivore diet is a lazy mans approach fix things like a magic bullet that misses the target.

It is true that elevated triglycerides is one of the most important risk factors, but it doesn't necessarily mean that elevated triglycerides causes heart disease. But rather, whatever causes elevated triglycerides (high carb diet), also causes heart disease. That is why they are correlated.

As someone that was a huge supporter of whole food plant based and who has expressed in the past, "I have concerns about carnivore", no one should talk about carnivore unless you've tried it at least 30 days. Why do people care so much about what someone says that hasn't experienced it? Also, someone who has been on carnivore for 3 years and has blockage, they are more than likely above 60 years old and what about the last 60 years of their life? Why do we go straight to the acute changes? As if anything can produce blockages in 3 years. Blockages are generally a lifetime of abuse from many factors. I finally experienced the carnivore diet and now when I see someone talking about concerns about it, I roll my eyes. How about he try it and then report back? I use to get so sore for days after working out. Now I feel fine after 1 day. My eczema since childhood has so far not came back, still tracking that. Most importantly, my food addiction is no longer a thing. I have control. The carb life left me feeling powerless to intense hunger cravings that often led me to eating junk food. I've so far lost around 35 pounds in almost 2 months now. Quiet simply, I don't care of someone's concerns that does not have the experience on it. If you're only going to base your opinions on "studies" then you're opinion will follow the market because most of these studies are funded and arranged by the market that wants to sell something. You become a useful idiot for these markets by only trusting in them. This is why real life anecdotal evidence is top priority. In a world of fraudulent and corrupt "science", anecdotal evidence is King. This is when I give peppermint oil for someone's tension headaches over and over and they all have great results. This is considered anecdotal evidence and I trust that way more than industry funded studies

exactly, the pharmaceuticals fund almost every single study and every independent study done on ldl, cholesterol and meat report only improvements on metabolic health with less risk for almost every disease and every independent study on seed oils report negative things, pharmaceuticals profit off of an unhealthy country, thats a fact, they dont want people to be healthy and its sad, i had leaky gut for 5 months and i was eating the whole food plant based diet the whole time, never got better until i switched to animal based, chicken, eggs, beef, fruit, dairy, now its fully gone and i feel the best i have in so long

I have been a carnivore since November 2023 and I have resolved a host of illnesses, and am progressing in reversing my type 2 diabetes. I will NEVER eat any plants ever again because carnivore has saved my life. I suggest you go on this diet and see how much better you feel before you trash those who can get better health from it. All my numbers are great and no more carbs have helped my IBS and autism. Ironically, humans are actually predators, and only eat plants in the recent past in order to survive in order to find more meat. I've been able to get rid of all meds at 64 years of age! I'd say that it works! The irony is that big pharma are probably paying this guy to trash those who can get their lives back. Humans do not need carbohydrates in order to thrive. Many of these carnivore doctors and others have been carnivores for their whole lives. I have eliminated the risk of heart disease. There is no empirical evidence that higher cholesterol will hurt you. In fact, cholesterol and healthy animal fat is needed to feed your hormones and brain cells. Before I started carnivore, I tried every diet and was unable to sustain it. Carnivore is satiating, and if you are not hungry all the time eating carbs, I would say that this way of eating is better. It is also helping to resolve my horrible eczema. I reiterate that I will never again eat plants ever again in my life.

Did you struggle with electrolytes imbalances and heart palpitations at any point on the carnivore diet? This is the only thing that’s hindering me from going carnivore. As Paul Saladino said adding fruits 🍉 🍎 🍌 will solve the electrolyte problem.

@@333vang4 I had a few issues in the first few weeks or so but was able to purchase a bottle of Keto Chow's unflavored liquid electrolyte drops from Amazon and put it in my water every day for about a month total, and it took care of everything. Once I got further along, my body was getting all the nutrients from the meat, and I didn't need it anymore. Also, your body on carnivore doesn't need vitamin C supplements because your body makes what it needs. I am pain free and have lots more energy, am building muscle at the age of 64, have much healthier hair and am losing the gray and have most of my natural hair color back. My dry skin is becoming more supple and I am looking younger than my chronological age! My eyes are even getting better and look brighter. The perks of eating meat! Also, it is actually a lot more affordable than when I was eating plants and was always sick and having to take meds and having big medical bills to deal with. Once I found Dr. Ken Berry and Dr. Shawn Baker, and Dr. Lisa Wiedeman, and Dr. Ben Bikman; they LITERALLY saved my life as prior to this, I was ready to give up on life as no one could figure out my problems and I was told I would never be able to resolve my health issues. SO far I have resolved many, many and only have a few auto immune issues left to resolve. Those can take years to heal for some people, but I am patient as I KNOW I have already had so much healing. I will have been a carnivore for a year on November 9th of this year and it could take another year or two for my total healing BUT it's so worth the wait to get my health back. I may be 64 but I feel like I am now back to 45! Miracles do happen.🥰

Who are you, for heaven's sake, to pontificate about what kind of diet "has a place"!? The carnivore diet has all kinds of forms. When you say "there in an animal-based diet there is no underlying improvement in the metabolic physiology," that sounds like someone trying to convince himself of some absolute truth that is simply not the experience of most people who live a predominately animal-based diet as a lifestyle. So sad that you seem very unopen to learn new information that might challenge your rigid principles! Have you really lost your interest in being surprised and expanding your knowledge? My diet and my life have been deeply enhanced by eating abundant healthy saturated fat in a way that never took place when I used to eat mostly unsaturated fats. Eating much less fiber has finally improved my digestion and gut health. Unfortunately your underlying principles of identifying the basic characteristics of a healthy diet do not align with what provides a healthy diet to many of us. Your incontrovertible truths may benefit form being turned on their head. I suggest you open yourself to the idea of possibilities that are beyond your current understanding. The mostly animal-based diet is far from an experiment. This is a diet that has 3 million years of evidence and the evolution of the large brain, highly acidic stomach and relatively short intestines that constitute the physiology of carnivorous/omnivorous homo sapiens, at least prior to the agricultural age, when many aspects of our robust physical bodies began a slow decline. Dr. Flanagan, I hope you become more informed about the current research about LDL cholesterol. It is becoming clear that increased LDL is not the marker for heart disease that our medical profession has assumed all these years. Perhaps you would be interested in exploring the research of David Feldman. This interview just went on and on with Dr. Flanagan acting like such an authority about areas that seemed obvious that he had very little expertise around. He made so many absolute statements that gradually became more and more difficult to listen to.

Well done! I have listened to several interviews with Cmdr. Mark Divine, and this is by far the best. I will bookmark and listen again. In photography there is a saying: The camera looks both ways. I think this is an example of the microphone going both ways. Bravo.
