NORTHERN LIGHTS TimeLapse Milton, Vermont 5/11/2024 using GoPro Hero10
I love the TimeLapse features on the GoPro Hero 10 Black. I'm creating #nightlapse videos and have never created these types of videos/images before. I'm so glad that #gopro #goprohero10 has made this type of videography even more accessible to small content creators like me.
This video was shot using a GoPro Hero 10 Black from 22:00 (May 10th, 10:00 pm EST) to 11:00 (May 10th, 23:00 am EST) on May 10, 2024 at the dam on Arrowhead Lake in Milton, Vermont. I opted to use photographs over the video nightlapse settings in the GoPro to have more control over the editing process. I had to convert the original goPro files into .dng files using a converter, and edited the roughly 105 RAW .dng photos on #adobelightroom Adobe LightRoom. From Adobe Lightroom, the photographs are imported into #finalcutpro Final Cut Pro timeline where they are converted into a video format.
The process is somewhat time consuming as I'm relatively new to this type of videography and it takes time for the computer to process all the images (I use a 2019 MacBook Pro) but the final outcome is so rewarding. I love changing the time and scale perspective from what our ordinary senses can normally detect. I also want to observe how the sky changes throughout the year and possess the knowledge of our ancient ancestors using modern technology.
I am super pleased with the outcome of this video and look for opportunities to point my camera at the sky. I wish my camera was able to take more pictures
I used this video to help set up my GoPro for the nightlapse:

Timelapse 4/8/2024 Total Solar Eclipse Using a GoPro: In the Path of Totality, Milton, Vermont

How fortunate were we? On April 8, 2024, Milton, Vermont was in the path of totality for a total solar eclipse. I never saw one of these types of eclipses before. I'm a science teacher and curious person by nature. I saw an annular eclipse on Long Island, NY when I was a kid (1983) and caught a partial solar eclipse in Vermont in 2017 with my son at the SandBar beach. We were the only people to...

On February 28th, 2024, I took a solo trip to the island of Culebra off the mainland of Puerto Rico. The 1hour ferry ride was very bumpy. I had to take Dramamine to prevent getting sea-sick. We docked at the Culebra Ferry station and took a taxi to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen in all my travels, Flamenco Beach. I spent several hours photographing, video taping, exploring, snorkeling,...
Fall Foliage Hike Up Hunger Mountain in Waterbury, Vermont-

Spent a glorious day on the trails of Hunger Mountain in Waterbury, Vermont to capture a unique perspective of the fall foliage. I met up with a long-time friend from out-of-state who actually got me into hiking. This climb was hard! I had to carry up my camera gear up the 3540 foot summit. I am also not in the best physical-shape and the trail itself is challenging with some scrambling at the ...

Very good video of your Puerto Rico trip. I jest went there and see most of it. Thanks for sharing the video.
We hope you had as good of a time as we did. We are going back in a couple of weeks and can't wait! We plan on doing a follow up video that showcases PR's southwest. Thanks for your comment.
I've visited 5 out of the 7 of these and can confirm they are well worth the visit. Lake Placid is one of my favorite places.
We love Lake Placid too! Thanks for your comment
I can’t wait to do this vlog In the summer. Or spring. Maybe even winter haha. So many epic views and little hidden gems 💎

How did you miss the Bob and Luge sled area? Now’s they have the awesome Coastal Slider ride that follows the Bob run track. It’s worth the cost and very exciting.
Thanks for your comment. I love that there’s so much we missed. It will make us return to the area for more adventure. Thanks!

Agreed! We are going back this year to check out parts of the island that we missed. We are so excited!

Welcome aboard! You made my day. I need to get moving on some of those projects now.
Did you see anything pet (dog) friendly?
Lake Placid seemed dog friendly in general and some of the other places (e.g., ski jump complex) might allow you to bring your dog for the outside or outdoors aspects of it. You would have to check with them. Reply back when you go to let us know your thoughts. Enjoy!
As a teenager I used to go to Culebra and camp on the beach. We would take the old ferry from Fajardo and camp out on the beach at least 1-2 times a year for about 5 years. We had to walk from the ferry with our backpacks and back then not as many people would go there. It was from 1975-80. My sister still goes from time to time. I’m thinking of going out there next year if possible, but no camping at my age. We will have to rent a room at the hotel there, if possible. It has that fantastic beach that makes the trip worthwhile.
Camping out on Culebra in your youth must’ve been an amazing experience. I bet it will be nice to go back now and reflect on those earlier times. Enjoy your trip and thank you for sharing your story.
Thank you for sharing the scenery of Cape Breton, it means a lot to me that I can take a look at this place. ❤ My boyfriend spent his teenage years here🧒, so I've always been curious about Cape Breton. (I live in Taiwan, and this place is so far away to go to me. 😂) Thank you for making this video.❤
Thank you for your comments. I hope you get the chance to go to CB one day. I would love to see Taiwan myself. Cheers!
A simple walk without getting nickeled n dimed is so sad. Seems like Everywhere you go you need to pay.

"THEY WILL NEVER KNOW THE BEAUTY OF THIS PLACE . . . The second time I played this video -- or clicked play -- a different 'travelogue' came up -- equally as wonderful, titled: "An Amazing Cabot Trail Experience: Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia July 2023- (4K) Travel VLOG." At the 00:15 second mark it showed a type of Remembrance Day cenotaph with a moving inscription inspired by the view: “THEY WILL NEVER KNOW THE BEAUTY OF THIS PLACE . . . see the seasons change, enjoy Nature's chorus. All that we enjoy we owe to them - men and women who lie buried in the earth of foreign lands and in the seven seas. Dedicated to the memory of Canadians who died overseas in the service of their country and so preserved our heritage." Thanks DivineEye Adventures for sharing with us!
I was moved by the cenotaph as well. I thought it was a fitting tribute to the Canadians who paid the ultimate sacrifice for such a beautiful country. Thanks for your comment and catching that! I hope others stop at that spot too and become stirred by it.
Nice video but the Cabot Trail is very over rated except for a couple overlooks. Mostly woods.
A very very useful video.Thank you so much.. your video is best and to the point listing down the places . Have shortlisted few for our upcoming visit.. !!!!!!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy your visit.

Do you do video flyovers for customers? I'd love a video of my Dad's property near Belvidere Pond and you nearly made it that far....!
I would be open to doing something like that. Send me an email at khaoseverywhere24@gmail.com and we can talk more about what you'd like to have done.
Theres some incredible waterfall hikes/ swimming holes in the high peaks which are personal favorites of mine
I was born in Lake Placid, NY. John Brown's farm is a place of interest for history buffs. It's where John Brown, the abolitionist from Harper's Ferry, WV fame planned to build a town for slaves that was to be named: '"Timbuktu". The Lake Placid Club built by Melvin Dewey, creator of the Dewey decimal system for libraries, may be a place of interest if it is still standing. There is also an equestrian center that has events near the village of Lake Placid.
I agree about John Browns farm and haven’t been there yet. I wanted to check it out during our visit and just didn’t have time. I appreciate you sharing these and other suggestions with the group. Thank you for your comment!
Cool vid
Thanks!
The best beaches are in the southwest coast
@@alicecasiano185 There’s so much to see and do in PR! We loved PR and hope to hit up the southwest and Ponce on a return visit. What are some of your favorite beaches?
New subscriber here. Thanks for the video. I would love to visit Vermont while visiting Lake Placid or Lake George. Is it worth it? How long it takes on that ferry?
Awesome! Welcome aboard. Ultimately, it depends on how much time you may have. Vermont is worth it but might be better suited as a different trip unless you have like two or more weeks in the area. The ferry ride is quick 30 min and an inexpensive way to view beautiful Lake Champlain. I hope to put out a Vermont video this year. Be on the lookout for it. Whatever you decide, this area is packed with beauty. Happy travels!
You should have checked out Experience Outdoors. They have a full zipline tour, a high ropes course, and a large net park. Much better than the tiny zipline you did that’s run by the state.
What a nice video😮
Glad you liked it, thank you!
Borikén today the Island of Puerto Rico United States territory possession since the year 1898 where my mother was born is more than gorgeous beaches with spectacular sunshine views and the old San Juan because Puerto Rico (BORIKÉN) natural beauty wonders are incredible stunning. next you visit Borikén today the Island of Puerto Rico (USA) territory trying to visit the country side of the island and central mountains side as well the very beautiful Waterfalls the Canyons as well The Switzerland of Puerto Rico in Ciales Pueblo (Town) and discover for what reason the tourist call this place in Ciales Pueblo (Town) village The Switzerland of Puerto Rico. the indigenous ancestors Arawak Tainos places in the mountains of the island where they live centuries ago before Jesus story the son of the Almighty God creator (יהוה) (YHWH) Jehová, the places the indigenous ancestors use to celebrate their ceremonies you can see the petroglyphs the Indigenous ancestors leave behind, also los 7 chorros cascadas so beautiful place so much to see in Puerto Rico (Borikén) the island also have the most beautiful Waterfalls in the world and the entire Caribbean.
Can’t believe you didn’t include/ go to The Adirondack Experience Museum (Blue Mountain Lake Museum). Such an amazing indoor and outdoor museum. Multiple buildings to walk through. Way more to do than the museum at Tupper Lake. Also the cliffside mountain coaster and the bobsled run right at the Olympic compound.
Thank you for sharing! I hope to hit those places up next time.
Well done, very watchable. I appreciate getting this kind of travel information without any annoying background music. The matter-of-fact approach is refreshing.

Great list!! Saving!
Yay! Thank you!
Next time go around the island,,you need to stop by Cabo Rojo beaches and if you want to see morw about Taino indigenous go to the mountain Jayuya
We would love to return and explore the southwestern side of PR. I am interested in the Taino culture and wanted to see some of the petroglyphs at Cueva Del Indio. Any specific places at Jayuya to visit? Thank you for your comment!

What about Fort Ticonderoga? That is the best thing to take in when in The Adirondacks.
