*29th of June, recieved the June patch when INDIA vs SA was going on.. updated the phone, and the green-line issue started.* *Next day (30th) was Sunday so sc was closed, called samsung and raised the issue they registered my complaint and assigned me a CASE HANDLER.. She asked me to visit sc the next day (Jul 1st) and submit my phone for inspection, I complied.* *First when I visited and submitted my phone, sc asked for 10k (I live in an urban City), I arraigned a call from handler to the sc employee, then left submitting my phone.* *It's 02:08am rn SAT 13th July as I'm typing this, yesterday 12th jul I picked my phone back from sc.. they took 502₹ of service charges and returned me my phone.* *In my case, I also had 0 scratches and used like new.. 1.2yo device.. Good point, I was wondering why the frame of my phone was covered with plastic along with the display when I got my phone back, had no idea they replaced the frame itself along with the display.*

I faced the same issue, samsung customer care nor service centre provided any help.finally exchanged for OnePlus 12r at a very low exchange price. Huge loss for me buying s21fe the price also dropped after 1 months of purchase. No more samsung for me anymore not in my dreams too..

happened with me , out of warrenty and they refuesd to free repair. never gonna buy samsung again

The main reason of this issue is the not proper calibration of the Amoled displays which were produced by Samsung during the 2021-2022 time gap. These screens are distributed to Apple, Oneplus and many other and ofcourse Samsung itself. The main reason of the lines popping out is due to the heat generated during software updates. OnePlus stopped using Samsung displays in their 12 and 12R models and I haven't seen any green line or similar issues in it. Make sure to wait for a week or two before updating your device and if possible update it in a cool place avoiding unnecessary heat sources.

Same with my s21 fe now, it has line on screen after the update😭😭😭😭

If it's a software issue it should affect everybody who has updated the software but that's definitely not the case. I have been using the s21 fe exynos version since 3 yrs and have never had any issue as such. The green line issue might occur due to hardware damage that might have been caused due to overheating while you might have updated. Not sure if you had removed the case while you updated your phone. Updates are really heavy and put up a lot of stress on that exynos chip and a case just worsens the situation as the heat is not able to dissipate due to the non conductive material. Anyway, this is just my opinion. At the end of the day the issue might have occurred due to the overheating chip which is really not a consumer's fault.

I got the screen replacement for around 500 rupees plus a 240 - 250 something to grab the job sheet.

I've been using S20 from November 2020 and never had any issues with it, nerve dropped it, never had a water damage. It was running perfect but after this update it fucked up the screen with pink lines that in middle of the screen. I always use to promote S series but after this issue I'm really hesitant to suggest. Cuz buying a mobile worth 70 to 115k and facing this sort of issue is really bad. And screen replacement costing me 17k now, utna to mere phone ka value nai aa raha resell krne me
