- The Honda CB300R is a fabulous motorcycle until you look at the KTM Duke 390. In this video, we look at some features that the Honda has, which make it better than the Duke 390.
A part of this video is focused on how Hondas pricing in India is just not working, with multiple products. The Honda Hornet 2.0 and Honda CB300F both don't have the refinement we have come to expect from Honda motorcycles.

I feel like honda thinks the legacy customer will come back to them every time because of the good service and longevity.
What my take on it, the initial offering price is really important which the mostly mess.
Second: I am unsettled about the longevity part. To fully enjoy it, one must keep it in the family like a heirloom, which government doesn't allow in india. You'll have to scrap it at 15 years, and thus, most sell their bikes before that.
So the deciding factor comes down to pricing. Which the miss most of the times.
The 300F is priced well now after a 50,000 price cut. If they bring the 300R to a point where honda has the price advantage for its lack in power in the spec sheet, most people will get it. And then when you sell more vehicles and there is a fan following, you can charge your premium.
But to charge any kind of premium, you need to earn that right first. Which honda has lost over the years. It feels like they're arrogant.
Yes! I don't understand why the 300F exists...in the current tune...when they have the 300R that will run circles around the F

Honda didn't give the 250R a fighting chance, and now its the same situation with the CB300R.
Instead of getting the CB300F...just update the bikes you have that pack the performance and get the pricing right.

I own a bs6 cb300r and i dont think the qualitt is better than duke 390, the built is just too plastic 😁
Well the motorcycle the video is the BS4... The BS6 has more local parts.
