Don't Use WD-40 🚫 To Lubricate Your Chain - Chain Clearner & Chain Lube

WD-40 is great to lube objects that are not subject to rotation, dust, and heat. The motorcycle chain does all of these things, and that's why you need to use something more durable.
WD-40 is great for cleaning the chain, but it won't stick to the chain for a long time after.

If you use gear oil to lube ur chain instead of chain lube (which chain companies recommend anyways).. after 15k km ull save enough money to buy a new chain assembly.. also you will not need to use chain cleaner almost at all

I once used WD-40 on rusted chain as it was rainy season it easily catches rust
After 1 week i used chain lube (Motul C2)
before long ride and after ride i notice grease marks on my clothes and pillon clothes .
Hence i don't recommend WD-40 on chain cuz it will definitely spill everywhere once the chain gets hot .

Yeah, it doesn't have the ability to stick. It's a great way to get rid of rust and short-term cleaning on the chain.
