This is something I should probably start doing. I have had multiple surgeries including a full AC separation repair on my right shoulder and several months back. I fell landing on that shoulder against a log and it still hurts. That exercise might be doable at this point. I heal kind of slowly because I'm pre-diabetic and almost 70 years old...

From someone who had a welt across her bottom from a band once- you can put a band (or two) horizontal attaching between two j-cups. Use that for assistance as well.

@brentlhill for me its only this exercise, except it feels uncomfortable
@@Majima669 I would work on your shoulder mobility and roll out your triceps. This maximizes the stretch on the long head of the tricep, which is why it is so effect but it also can be limited because of the stretch and what you are capable of. Check on the French press as an alternative

I've had a sports hernia in my left hip for years, and mobility work helps a lot, i do 90/90s quite often and it helps loosen up those suckers. This variation of movement helps a lot. Side note: I found that doing a nice swift downwards kick helps open that biznitch up too.

Literally just do the cable crunches 3x a week progressively overloading and be in a calorie deficit. “How to get abs in 15 min ahh”
Calorie deficit is a given. Sticking with one weighted exercise that curls the rib cage down will get you some thick abs for sure, especially upper.. but you’re going to be lacking in lower ab & oblique development, and definitely core stability. But hey, that’s one way to do it 🫡

@@Mitchellwhite35 that’s all I needed to hear but with your weighted only approach, this makes sense haha you do you brotha. If you pay attention to how I program ab workouts.. bodyweight only higher rep for rotational / anti-rotational core work = ripped up / defined side walls and a more bulletproof / stable core. Why would anyone ever want that? I don’t think anyone is trying to pack on size to their obliques, so I’ll agree with you there.

You right, no obliques here;) haha and this is a series of workouts. There are weighted crunches, and trust me the statics with this combo of exercises is not a waste of time. Get through that workout big boy
You cant "hit the upper fpur right here" its not a thing. You either hit them all or not at all. You cant magically isolate your abs.
There’s obviously overlap lol but you can 100% target the portion you are hitting. Curl shoulders up = upper, curl hips = lower.
