Excellent video, and I think you're correct in your verdict. I would say though that the inclusion of Jacob's name on his wife's grave does not seem to me necessarily an indication that he was fondly remembered, in and of itself. I believe that including the name of the deceased husband on a widow's grave was pretty traditional, and indeed leaving it off would have been quite a statement.

Question 9 - police interest in C L …. I think he was deliberately passed over… on the square, I should think. The murder on Mitre Square is a bit of a giveaway! Otherwise, the man found at the scene of poor Polly’s death, while she was still warm, apparently, would be the obvious man to question.

No he is clearly not the killer, mist serial killers are all found to be sane , the liver or kidney removal proves he would know human anatomy, and removed it in extremely dim light

i think mary was so drunk she passed out on the street she was a easy target for the killer If pc neil did it he would take the chance of charles and paul catching him in the act.

Hi. Will you be doing a video on your theory why the murders suddenly stopped? I have often wondered why the killer just vanished. 🤔 Also what do you think about that German sea man who fled to America after the murders and similar murdets then happened there? 🤔 I can't remember his name but I think his surname started with a L. I really love all your videos keep up the good work. 😊👍

Paul and Mizen both show up at bucks row at 3:45 ? I think she was so drunk and tired she layed down an passed Mild hypothermia (32-35°C) is usually easy to treat, The temp that night was right about 40 to 35 degrees killer came up kicked her in the face see if she would wake up. knock her even more out and decided to take advantage of the situation to unconscious body. Why no one heard her scream

When the carotid artery is cut there is an arterial spray of blood. The killer would most likely have been bloodstained to a degree. If the wound was that fresh it doesn't explain how the blood seeped slowly. I cant quite get to grips with this part of the evidence

Was C L a Freemason? He could have been, especially as (I learn from your wonderful podcast on his background) that his family were landed gentry, even nearly aristocracy - he might well have felt that being a ‘brother’ could help him elevate his social status, back to the level he felt his family deserved? You know why I’m asking!! Perhaps he had assistance escaping notice - perhaps even had an agenda to pursue, in terms of creating fear, or even assassinating certain people, as disguised as a random serial killer victim??

Thanks for the enjoyable film. I favour a death time for AC of 5:30 as it fits in with the statements of those who spoke to the police at the time. This means though that he would have taken a break during work (as he started at 0400 hrs) which you have suggested previously. Talk about risk taking!

@thehouseoflechmere9407 Could it be that the excessive depravity of the m**ders was key to the deception? These acts were so excessively depraved that it led the investigators to reflexively go on the hunt for a raging lunatic. Consequently, the true perpetrator, cool calm and collected, could be right under their nose and they never realized it

Another interesting film. The fact that Ostrog appears at all in the "3 most likely" list of the Force's finest, tells us all we need to know. I remember reading the Sugden book years ago and agree that it is the best general text produced to date imho.
