Gibson has copied many other guitar brands..now we all know where and how the Les Paul solid body guitar was actually born..it was Les Paul and Epiphone in 1939 into 41 called the Log.. without the Log the Gibson standard Les Paul solid body guitar wouldn't even exist today.. Epiphone Les Paul is every bit the real deal..
McCarthy (no n) The capacitors were replaced (to the black ones) as they get dry and change their value. The resistors were kept, maybe they are still ok, could drift out of values because of heat.
The amp circuit is pretty much in the RCA tube use manual- where fender copied it.
