My son and I try drifting with the Kyosho Mini Z RC cars! I will say it's not as easy as some drivers make it look. It's quite challenging, but once you get the hang of how it you can start to do some cool slides. Do you guys think we should pick up an Xmaxx next for the channel? HOW TO CHANGE Motor Bearing on Arrma Typhon 3s

This seems to be a common thing with the stock Spektrum motors found in the Arrma vehicles. Swapped out the center diff fluid from 100k to 200k. Didn't want to get too crazy with the fluid just to see how the car performs. It did help some with getting the car to backflip. These land better . Did you try tuning the shocks more eventually ? I know it’s been a few years just curious , thanks
Yeah . Shocks and tires change the most with the landing and driving .
I put these on both my 3s and 6s and they both just plain are hard to control beyond 75% power. Both wheelie when you punch it with the 3s pretty much unable to NOT wheelie (and flip over) if you're at 100%. The tires balloon like a banshee and can rub against the body when turned and the front end is up in the air. They also kill the batteries quite a bit quicker. Overall these are fun to play around with... but you'll not want to use them all of the time.

Buy a quality pinion. I run a tekno rc pinion. Fantastic. Saga is great also. And the stock pin system is garbage. Buy a good motor mount and ditch it.
Which mount do you recommend?

Exact same thing happened to mine, and I was literally driving it up and down my road not a single jump a couple wheelies no power, takeoffs or anything like that, so far, I’m not impressed with Traxxas XRT at all
Yeah this seems to be a common issue and I’m still working through it to find the best solution.
That screw comes out with a long shafted tool with no problem at all. Buy some longer Allen drivers.
Just got mine shredded the teeth on the motor and now the driveshaft snapped I think I pushed it to the limit and had to fun other than that it’s good don’t have too much fun with it 😂😂😂

Not sure what in mine I just purchased off FB marketplace used and it's doing backflips on launch on 4s and 6s will just keep doing backflips over an over till it lands on its back was cool at first but it's kinda annoying now so I'm going to change the diff fluid tomorrow and reset the esc
Usually it's from landing while under throttle.. even blowing through a field that makes the wheels slightly come off the ground will do it.. butbespecially jumps.. the wheels will speed up when in the air and then instant resistance will hit everything at once and something in the drive train will give.. usually the gears.. its highly recommended to at least do hardened steel gears.. or if you wanna go big mod 1.5 gears .. best of luck

Check your motor i had the same problem then my front motor bearing went i replaced the bearings now i have no issues

I would look for a Robison racing gear set with the same hardened steel and adjust any slipper to protect the drivetrain.
I had that problem too but every since I fixed it it haven't done it yet
Try like metals. Softer metal is gonna wear if its up against something harder.
Makes sense, but these have also broke on the stock metal.

Throttle inputs. More throttle to make it flip and brakes to level it out.
I just did a trade for the 3s Typhon. Tires look awesome! We have a Typhon mega that I made brushless. Only let my kids run on 2s. Not sure if there gears/diffs are the same as the 3s. I’m going to have to get these tires now (sorry wife haha).

I got the 6s and my cousin has the 3s and we have a blast. They are very similar in performance do to the weight. If I would have known I would have gotten the 3s and changed the pinion.
