Great channel Mick, picked up lots of pointers. Do you think a break off cue makes a difference? Why? Would it be for players with a small tip on their usual cue?

Great tips,I struggle with object ball on the cushion to pot down the rail,I see object balls glued to the rails as they're potted by quality players,how do they do that?

I don't really understand the loose grip at the back part. I've always heard it's a good way to play, But loosening your grip literally allows the cue to move around in your hand, If your cue is moving around, It's going off line and likely not hitting where you're aiming

Great to see you in full flow Mick, your an inspiration for many. Jaden's been a top talent for a while as I've come up against him a few times over the years in the local pool league I play in. He has the potential to be a future world champion if he keeps developing the way he is for sure.

Coaching i.q is underrated

Imo the best thats ever played the game. So much work has gone into what we see now. Obviously a true gentleman and very humble. A brilliant ambassador for the game. A great example for us all to follow.

Natural angles change with how hard you’re hitting the cue ball This is why uk 8 ball is harder to control the cue ball than snooker

Does it help to have a smaller or a rounded tip when playing back spin?

Hi Mick, great stuff as usual. Have you got a video when to use traditional stun shots, as sometimes we need to stun the ball dead like a straight shot to hold position. Is there ever a case when a harder grip is useful to get that kind of stun, or do you prefer to go the light grip delicate feel shot way always.

I like how you teach the way forward for beginners and amateurs, and your detailed explanations are really easy to understand. I am pleased I used to play the right way, finding the line to keep the natural angle, flow with ease on to the next ball, and if you come up short you are still on the right line.

Excellent tips, would love more of these types of commentary with pattern play.

Been a while since you made a video Mick, hope all is well? If you was struggling for ideas, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see a video of you doing a few racks but a picture on the screen of the cue ball and where your hitting each shot. We can see how hard / soft players hit the ball so have an idea for that side of the game, but not always possible to see where players are hitting the cue ball and as we all know, cue ball control is everything in this game. All the best and hope to see more of your videos even if you don't do one on my suggestion 👍

Excellent video. Last point was the best . Always watch . I learnt 40 odd years ago and watch what players and opponent's do correct but also wrong . When you dont learn anything your almost there. It would only take watching a couple of shots then to gauge just how good someone was .

Good video . To me timing is an extension of technique. Timing is the connection between the brain and your hands . That flo state where you just do it without thinking.
