some of the earlier ones had blue handles and blue guards I believe some of them could have been police models too but if you have one with the sword loop that's a little earlier one

I believe the model's date was 1888 to 1889 series they were stockpiled and arsenals too after the conflict and then issued out during world war II

@onlywhenprovoked- It was not a children's play, although we had many child actors. The people from Marksville, the home of young Little Walter, who knew him, have told stories of how he danced as a younger performer.
