you guys are the best-from bc canada!
I have one in what I would say is good condition. It has the Toyada tool mark. Anyone know what it is worth?
Have the same sword 69113 been in my family for a long time.
Greetings! Thank you for making this video. I am just curious what state you are from. Your accent is interesting.
Louisiana. French Heritage
Must be on a acid trip from the 60's
i have that one with matsushita kinzoku marking, i just found this morning in my father in law warehouse
And the blades were blue too
some of the earlier ones had blue handles and blue guards I believe some of them could have been police models too but if you have one with the sword loop that's a little earlier one
I believe the model's date was 1888 to 1889 series they were stockpiled and arsenals too after the conflict and then issued out during world war II
This is my collection ua-cam.com/video/YNYK8fRkG-E/v-deo.html
Was looking for old footage of myself on stage it was so nice to see my younger self as little Walter.
My names julius
I just stumbled on this. I have the exact same model in remarkable condition. Everything is legible including the Japanese kanji on the guard. Serial number 74418. Any idea what armory these came from.

Saya punya yang buatan Kokura Arsenal.......ex milik Tentara Pelajar masih terawat dengan baik.
at Clarence, spray some penetrating oil on the button and wait a couple days, barley tap it with a brass hammer. If not repeat step 1 and be patient.
Good video with a story. I have a type 30 with it's button stuck, any idea how to get it functioning properly? Thanks.
明治30年に正式採用だから、30年式銃剣です。 村田式小銃から有坂38式歩兵銃、又、99式短小銃まで使用された銃剣です。( ^^) _旦~~

Great story of the Type 99 reunion with the Type 30. Nice piece of history, THX for the vid
Is it still sharp? Also I have heard so much about these Japanese bayonets being insanely good at edge holding and tough... I don't know if it's just a legend...
This sucker is sharp.
This is LSU-Kent State 2013
Check out the book, The Outhouse Report

Eleanor Gremillion has been involved with the City of Marksville celebrations of its founding since 1959.
@Janet Long Go to this web site or send me a photo of the Japanese letters on the rifle. This will tell you where your rifle was manufactured and then the numbers will tell you when. There were many with only four numbers.
Are you sur it only has four numbers?
i have a type 99 with serial number 1597...any idea of the year made and value? bore 100 %
Hey man, I'd be interested in buying it.... if the price is right and not destroyed.
katanas by far. these are worth around 200.00
I have exactly the same sword, my sword number is 60777 so I guess it is an earlier one then yours. I need to sell it, any ideas of what its worth? Would really appreciate your comments. Thanks.
@onlywhenprovoked- It was not a children's play, although we had many child actors. The people from Marksville, the home of young Little Walter, who knew him, have told stories of how he danced as a younger performer. The actor used his own study to develop the character as he saw fit. Poetic License. This was not racist. It was the ending segment of the history of Marksville.
I dispute that statement. His death was directly related to a fight in which he probably was hit in the head by a pipe. See 'Blues with a feeling- The Little Walter Story' by Glover, Dirks and Gaines - Copyright 2002 Published by Routledge at page 267. His talented life was shortened by his temper which was affected by drugs and alcohol.
walters deat was not violent
Very sharp. It was a great weapon. We donated it to the WWII museum, since all they had were Samurai swords.
is that sharp or just replica?
It is real and very sharp.
@criddle777 yea i just got one to a kokura series 20 bring back from okinawa.
@zero48411 It is fun to play with it. I did not think about using the palm. Thank you.
you see that safter is a palm safty so use you palm to rotat it right for saftey and left for fire
nice job, i dont know whats rarer the katana or this sword.
@AUG351 Cool. I bet it was a horrible sight to see the charge with those bayonets.
Camille can perform too!
@criddle777 right on
@THE48LAWS I am aware of the mistreatment in Mississippi that has been well documented. I was responding to his accusations in Avoyelles Parish which had no foundation.
@Serenasailor Same thing i heard, this did take place in 1927 i bet most of the dead people were the black people i saw maybe 6 black folks in the whold video.. And i just left louisiana just to beat this shit again its supposed to be worst then this, and yes its racist as hell down this ah way... You know they fucked over them black folks like crazy!!!
@criddle777 sorry no english,,,,, google top page ↓ ohmura guntou type 32
@MrNingenbakudan I do not know. Maybe you can tell me by looking at the Japanese markings on the handle. I hope that they are clear enough.
