Hi, I have 2024 waverunner VX, with TR1 engine, now 16 hours on it. I don't have an option in the drive control for acceleration, only speed control. The reason I am watching your video is that, I am searching to find out, what is wrong with my VX. I can only get 48 miles/h (with drive control OFF) when water is completely flat and no wind. Moreover I can not switch in the drive control from "middle" to "speed". The factory speed should be 53 miles/h. It looks like it is stuck on 48m/h in my case, never more. Before I go to the dealer I would like to hear other owners opinion. Thank you.

Thank you so much! I just broke in my new 2024 VX Cruiser HO and couldnt top 55mph and ~6500 RPMs or so. I can't wait to get back to the lake and turn drive control off so I can see this thing rip. Im not sure if i enabled drive control just browsing the menu settings, but i definitely stumbled across it and set it to high and normal. Youd think thatd be the best performance. Pretty terrible UI design!

When i go to the speed menu isnt showing me the Drive/Acceleration option. It just shows 2 options, Speed and Lock and if i click speed only shows Low and Medium 🤷‍♂️

I have a gp1800rsvho 2021 and my Bluetooth pairing doesn’t work. I turn on the audio, makes like 3 beeps and when I go to connect my phone the speaker gives out. Like “boom boom” like with a little static. Any ideas what can it be? I change my audio controller thinking it might be that but nothing, checked fuzes and they are all good. Any ideas would help 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Te good thing about having this option ,your lights could possibly go off when you need them most. All automatic products have had this issue for decades.

I'd prefer more cargo room than passengers, mebbe take out the back seats and extend the tip tray. This would be more useful to farmers, rangers, lifestyle block owners. Surprised Yamaha haven't thought of it.

I have a new 2023 VX HO limited , first time out was today, everything went good, but the display kept going from bright to dim, stayed bright while at idle, but as soon as got cruising it would flash bright to dim, almost off, any suggestions?

I got a 22 yamaha waveunner and the bluetooth panel doesn’t even light up like yours does. Do you think its just not plugged into the battery? Any idea what color the cord is to connect to the battery?

Thanks, I’m going outside to swap mine and wanted to watch a video first. I kinda wish you hadn’t “yada yada yada’d” the boot replacement but maybe it will be self explanatory. …..And the boot off was tougher than putting it back on. Thanks for letting do a dry run via your video, it was a 5-minute job!

Poor programming design. Both settings should just have “off” as an option to avoid confusion for new owners. Thanks!
