Thankyou Sir for this video: Very helpful, you are a GOD sent. And this is very timely for my A Pillar lights set up on my JL....A popular Jeep shop wanted to charge me 4 hours of labor to connect.
I am very close to pulling the trigger on the slimlites for my bumper. Do you happen to have a video of some nighttime driving with just the bumper lights and headlights on? Very curious to know how bright they get, just without the A-pillar setup. How easy are these to angle down a bit so you can use them while driving on-road without blinding anyone?
Here's a very quick and not great video I shot shortly after installing just the bumper lights if it helps. You can angle the lights easily however you like but these aren't approved for on-road use in most places so you'd want to check your local regulations before using them on-road. ua-cam.com/video/AcTKQFUigu0/v-deo.html
This is a short video showing just the bumper lights, I'll have to try and get another shot soon showing all lights going down the road, thanks for the suggestion. ua-cam.com/video/AcTKQFUigu0/v-deo.html
I would think so. Per KC's website each light draws 4 Amps. Aux 1 and 2 on the JL's are rated at 40 amps. Aux 3 and 4 are only 15 so those wouldn't work but Aux 1 and 2 would probably support 4 on one switch. I wired mine separately so I had a little better control over and could turn the pairs on independently of each other. (Disclaimer: Don't act on any of my advice without consulting your owner's manual 😊).
Best video I have seen for installing a pillar lights. Good job

Do you think you would be able to wire all four lights to one aux switch?

How do you get factory second?
KC will occasionally offer them on eBay but I haven't seen them do that in a while.
