We got some rain. I have a little rant about the education system and read another poem
Dry times for the cattle.

A quick look at the cattle and the bulk feeders we are using to get them through this dry period. Sorry about the wind noise, RODE mic went flat.

just a quick video to let everyone know where I'm at as I have had a few people asking me where I'm up to. It is difficult for me to do videos at the moment as my heart is just not in it. I have so many things I need to achieve before I get my transplant. I have very little energy and what I do have I need to put into sorting out my livestock and keeping them going through this current dry spell.

A quick update on how things are going with me. the last month has seen me get another stent in my main bile duct, a staph infection in my blood, losing 10kg in 8 days and a contract on the Mountain Block. Who knows what tomorrow brings.

Sunset and sunrise....something that never disappoints 👍👍
We do a good sunset here mate. Best country.
Much love from double barrel Brahmans. Rob your a good bloke doing good things. I’m glad we crossed paths and I can’t wait to catch up with you and your beautiful family
Thanks Dan, was good to meet up with you guys as well and keep the gyr love alive. Will have to wear the cap in the next one 😉😂
Hi m8 nice to see a new update from you , I think biggest change I see is your hair growth and beard has really grown back well . I still maintain a every so often I do return to hear your poems when I need a wee boost . Yes I have folk all over here watching and looking out for your next post , other platforms I tend to stay off as just having utube and fb even that I tend to just see what’s up but more to see if kids msgs alerts . Since last time I now have youngest daughter pregnant and eldest son partner pregnant so both are expecting a girl so this will be four grandkids . Oh biggest thing I achieve is my Red Baron landriver series 2a is up running and in use as of today it’s took a while but at a pace I have had to go by my health or other things going on , but the landrover I got her day Andy Murray won his first Wimbledon title so that’s about 9 years lol so yes it had taken a wee while but like you ,take one day at a time and don’t set time limits or due dates but it be done when it’s done as I’m sure you have faced the day when you wake with good intentions but find once you sat in garage or workshop that getting one nut and bolt done is all you can manage but it more about the effort to get to the seat and at least try and still feel good at that progress . Life is taking a day at a time and enjoying every min and not clock watch it go by as sometimes just sitting down looking out at what around you , dog at your side or feet chewing a bone or just asleep is just a perfect day and it is times like that you have to just stop and do . I hope you and family be okay and you continue u recover best you can and you and your dig can just fool about and just sit back and relax . Anyways I’m calling it a night ,your my last to msg back today I just knackered and sore as once again I push past my limits and now feeling it. Till next time m8 take it easy and just enjoy each day the best you can. John & Oscar 🏴
Glad you got your landy up and going. Life has been moving on for you and yours as well by the sounds of it. Glad you’re still tinkering and finding reasons to get up everyday. Take care Rob👍🏼
Howdy Rob! Great to see you teach your dog poetry. She sure is in love with you... or maybe you were just handy to give out some affection. Only the dog knows! Your poetry is your focus for healing in which time is the master and you must heed it. Your healing will come to pass and you will have new dreams nurture. The love of your family, love for yourself, and yes... the love of your dog will keep you strong. Grow, heal, love... and we'll see ya in the next one! Stay safe. Bob
Thank you for your thoughtful words. You are right about the poetry I have taken on a completely new mindset and committed myself to write everything that comes to me and try to get the words in reasonable order. I am constantly amazed how what I felt when writing can be totally different to what others feel when reading, it gives me a whole new outlook about perspective. Poetry has been such a great way for me to get my emotions out and in order so they don’t overwhelm me at the most inopportune times. That dog was a little pup when I was very sick and I may have spoiled her a little as my comfort creature while home alone feeling like crap, but surely that is what her purpose is, although she is going to be a very handy working dog as well so win win. Thanks again for your kind words and to be sure, I’ll catch you on the next one👍🏼😂 Rob
Thanks for the update Rob. All the best to you, Kell and the boys (and the kelpies and cattle).
Thanks for the comment will pass on your thoughts to Kell, the boys and the livestock😂
Write us a book Rob, not an easy task, fill it with your story and poems.
Thanks Pete just poems and a little explanation about what prompted them in my first book of poems.
Rob, Great to see you back. Clean shaven and short hair as usual 😜. ❤to you, Kel and the boys. Kel still teaching? 👍🏴
Kell is back teaching. I do try to maintain a soldierly look😉😆😆
Still teaching but in a new role, so lots of excitement 😂. Been a roller coaster of a ride. Especially grateful for the support given by my school. Thanks for asking 😊
@@kelliparr2928 Kelli. Glad to hear you’re enjoying your new teaching role. Stay safe and well and keep Rob in order hopefully he will find a publisher for his book. ❤️👍🏴
Hi Rob great poem, take care mate 👍
Cheers mate thanks. Try to look after myself if I don’t I have lots of people telling how I should be doing it😬
Good to see you Rob. It’s great how you can express yourself so well through poetry.
Thank you, lots of people keep telling me I have a gift for it so I’m going to test that out with my book and see where it leads.
Hi been thinking about you and your lovely cows.
The cows I have left are doing well. I had to get rid of a lot of them so my boys could manage while I was away.
Good to see you on the screen again. I have MS, and it comes and goes. ticking off my bucket list while I can.
@@TheAussieRepairGuy yeah I need to sort what my bucket list looks like, even though I have a new liver I still have the same disease that chewed up the first one it just gets to start again on this one. Doing my poetry is part of what I feel compelled to do so see what else I need to tick off. Hope your doing well👍🏼
@@mountainblokemoments Treatment for me is going well, I'm lucky in that I'm a rare case with few side effects. Lost a couple of close mates in the last few days as well - just reminded me I need to check in with people more often.
@@TheAussieRepairGuy sorry to hear, these small communities we become part of with our diseases we get to see so many doing so much worse than our own situation always brings me back to reality to appreciate what I have.
Really Great to see you again mate. Your poem painted so many pictures and stirred stale emotions that needed a good shakeup. Many thanks and God Bless.
@@daryljohnson9378 poetry is so amazing like that. I have done a few readings for donatelife and a mens health group I am involved with. The feedback I get is amazing for what it makes them feel. Thanks for the kind words👍🏼
When are we doing pork roast ?
@@adelarsen9776 we will have to make it happen this year for sure👍🏼 maybe on a school holiday so Kell has the time off.
Its good to see you back Rob! Get back on the dozer, it will give you inspiration to write your poems!
@@trentjohnson8794 not sure my new to me liver is ready for dozer work. Would be very limited amount of times that’s for sure.
@@mountainblokemoments one day mate 😎
@@trentjohnson8794 yep one day. I saw a nice HD 16 for sale the other day would be a good size dozer to replace the 21 on our small block just to tidy it up but $$$
@@mountainblokemoments have u thought a bout buying to flip machines, build up some cash and the channel that way, then u could use it to get to the machine u want, start small build up
@@mountainblokemoments HD 16 still a good machine!
Good to see you back Rob. You’re looking good. Continued good health! Whatever content you put will be fine..
@@phillipdean9879 hopefully I will get back to doing a bit of regular content. UA-cam demonetised me for not putting up regular videos. Still have the subscribers and viewing hours from old dozer videos but they want regular videos now as well.
Thanks for the video rob.....great poem and your dog admires you so much....keep marching foreward and NEVER give up👍👍🍻
@@chrissoucek1679 love my kelpies they have got me through a few difficult times over the years.
Thanks Rob for the update. anytime you feel good enough to post a video has to be a positive. Kind regards Stew.
Generally feeling pretty good, just struggling with the physical stuff and a few side effects of the drugs I’m on, to be expected I guess. Thanks for checking in👍🏼

There should be at tag on right side of firewall i engine compartment, think i can se the tag in the video.
Checking back on the channel to see how you are doing. Hope all is well. You cross my mind each month when I got to oncology for treatment.
@@TheAussieRepairGuy hey mate, still going, I’ve been concentrating on putting a poetry book together so that has taken up most of my creative energies. I think I know what I’m going to do with the channel now. I hope to do a video soon, it has been so good to get the occasional message from followers of the channel asking how I’m doing. Hope your treatments are going well.
@@mountainblokemoments 6 years in an no further attacks, treatment doing very well. if you find yourself down south at any point hit me up and I'll drag out the 8x8 and 6x6.
Howdy Rob! It's been a while since you've posted a vid. How are you doing and anything new running about? We'd all like to hear from you. Just letting you know. Take care Rob!
@@robertmcbee4671 hey mate yeah I’m still here getting better every week. All my creative energy has been used up trying to put a book of poetry together. I will try to get motivated to do a video as I think I know what I am going to do with my channel now that I’m back feeling better but don’t have the mountain.
@@mountainblokemoments You seem to have a lot of creativity in you. The future will be interesting!

Old dozer great super duty
Stay strong my friend the 21 is waiting👍👍
Sold her with the mountain property😔
@@mountainblokemoments oh no! The main thing is your health, there's more 21 out there to buy
May the Lord grant you prayers and shine his blessings upon you, best wishes to you.
Beautiful piece of Allis engineering right there and being operated by someone who knows his machine. In my opinion, Allis Chalmers was the only company that made industrial equipment on par with Caterpillar. International Harvester tried, but in their panic to catch up they abandoned proper research and development. Some of the earlier comments have peeked my curiosity so I'm looking forward to learning how that ole 21 came to be.

What a beautiful and heart touching poem, you are incredibly talented! Wonderful to hear you're thriving and recovering well!
What a roller coaster! Wonderful to hear you were able to get your transplant. You're looking so well! Hope recovery goes smoothly xx
Rob. Great to hear you are recovering well, Kel has a long list of chores for you 😉 .❤👍🏴
Don’t I ever!😂😂
Have you noticed any changes? My father after his transplant lost his sense of direction and after talking to the donor family he had no sense of direction.
What a sweet little spot. Cheers to the both of you.
Hello Rob, such a sad time but happy that you are doing better. I remember all those fine cows with their big ears. All the best in your journey.
Great to hear and see you are getting well, super happy for that home is in your near future, you have been through enough for a lifetime, good luck and may God bless you and the family.
I hear a little spark. Life is good for us all as you are back. Cheers Mate and good health
Glad to see your well and truely on the mend Rob! Good to see you back..🍺🍺
I’ve been very lucky but have also worked hard during my recovery. Looking forward to getting home.
People are so caught up in amassing material possessions that they never stop to see the forest for the trees nor to see what's really important. I've said it before and I will say it again - The 4 important things in life are Health, Family, Freedom and Integrity. As always Rob I wish you and family good health and prosperity.
Thanks Ade, sometimes it takes life altering events to make us realise what is truly valuable.
So great to hear you're recovering well mate, all the best to you, Kel and the boys.
Thanks mate looking forward to getting back home to the animals the 2 and 4 legged kind.
