It may not be the mountain block in your videos any more, but as a fellow farmer I think it is still showing a great insight into day to day life. Great to see you back posting some material, hopefully the transplant program works out. You just never know what’s around the corner. As an old bloke once told me “As one door closes, another one opens”. He was a great old bloke, but a terrible cabinet maker!
Thanks Rob, I had to laugh when they were all hanging around you as if to say take my picture, no take mine haha. Sure is dry Buddy, hang in there, take care, stay safe mate. Seeya Rob
Good to see you Rob! Thanks for the escapade around with the cows and crew. Hope you get some rain soon as it looks pretty dry there. Here in Oregon we are starting our wet weather times...joy! Take care!
Always enjoy looking at the cows, so it’s a video in the bank for my extended hospital stays. We had some rain last night which was awesome and much needed
good to see you back on line hope you are on the mend from me being ambulanced to hospital only to be told i have covid bugger takes all your energy anyway good to see you again take care
the dreaded covid, ah well rest up and take care, it seems to be a lot like the flu these days but you will be able to tell us about it once you have recovered.
Rob, Great to see your positive attitude shining through mate. Oh, and I'd be proud as punch if I were running those cattle on that country and they looked that good, well done!
Thanks Daryl, definitely spent some money on feed for the cattle this year to keep them going. Not to hard to be positive when I’m with the cows like most thing in nature they bring me into the now and I don’t have to worry about tomorrow or what the future holds. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. 👍🏼👍🏼
Rob, did you see on the news a farmer in Qld sold his cattle due to the dry and replaced them with goats, now has bought another property and proposes to have50,000 of the buggers. Since he had them he has a processing plant, freezer trucks, live goat transport and a butcher shop in Warwick. Just a thought if the rains fail. Could run a few in the scrubby country and fatten them before sale, may help the cash flow. All the very best to you and yours, hope all goes well!
Yeah if I still had the mountain it might be an option. Very hard to lease country to put goats on unless that’s what it was setup for. We shall have to see how I go after the transplant, if I can get back to earning a few dollars, I might be able to get some dirt again.
promises promises good old BOM seems to be good at making them but not keeping them. Getting to be a wider band of green to the south of us. Maryborough and south seems to be getting under most of these storms. we are sending cattle to Biggenden again tomorrow, prices have lifted a fraction and we can't afford to keep feeding them.
G'day mate Good to see you up and going again We were dry as you till we got 96 then 36 and 13 within few weeks You got rain coming mate just gotta get under a cloud Take care mate 👍
@@mountainblokemoments how good is it mate when it's so bloody dry and getting desperate and you wake up to the rain It's those little moments in life mate 👌
It’s chucking it down here past few weeks a lot of flooding and rivers are swollen I happy it not snow yet but do like driving the landrover in snow the most . I hope weather changes for you and you get much needed rain as it must be dear to have to buy in food during dry times anyways nice to see you posted up a video m8
Nice to see you again and the cows look great!
Cows getting a fair bit of money spent on them to look as good as they do, hopefully they will pay me back with a good drop of calves.
Rob, beautiful looking cattle ❤👍🏴
Yep I like them

Hahaha I can relate to the cabinet maker, be the same for a builder😂. Farming is not all green grass and cashflow that’s for sure.
Hi Rob, great video mate 👍 and love the cows.
Glad you enjoyed it👍🏼 wind noise was a bit shit but what can you do when technology lets you down.
Great to see your cows looking in good condition at the moment Rob👍
Trying to do the best by them so they can do the best for me. 👍🏼

One day closer to rain, not sure how many times I’ve heard that in my lifetime.
Good to see you again missed your content take it easy and much love to you and you awesome family
Thanks mate appreciate the comments. Have a bit of enthusiasm to make a few videos, so we will see how long that lasts.

Thanks for watching👍🏼👍🏼
Good to see you again Rob.
Thanks feels like the dry run for transplant has given me a little kick in the arse to do everything I can with the time that I have.

At least there is promise of rain in the next week. PERHAPS!

Hey mate finally getting a turn with the rain 2 inches since Sunday night.

We need a good drenching that’s for sure couple of inches wouldn’t go a stray
And then the same again a few weeks after, fingers crossed

Started raining here last night Sunday 19/11/23 have had about 2 inches so far. Some much needed rain that’s for sure
I am sure you've seen next week's forecast. Starting Monday.... :-)
I have Ade and I would like to believe the BOM but their track record is less than reliable.
I know but it looks pretty likely. @@mountainblokemoments
@@adelarsen9776 certainly a fairly strong system coming in from the west so we shall see.
I'm a bit further north than usual due to a death. The heat and dry is not to my liking at all...
And the wind don’t forget the bloody wind.
