Ms. Knight is a flagrant NIMBYist who is merely trying to protect the view from her second home in Little Compton, RI that faces the proposed wind turbine development sites. She has zero environmental or marine wildlife training (she's a psychiatrist) and her organization has been fully discredited by people who do know what they're talking about - including investigative journalists in RI and environmental academics at Brown University.

Wind farms are a plague to our oceans. It’s not like the government have never been wrong before. Their history has a checkered past at best. And with the policies this administration pushes they want to destroy the Maine fisheries. That’s the real truth.

In my personal opinion, KPassionate is a horrible person. I found her channel by accident a few months back and made valuable points and wow the attack was on. She is not for the animals at all and I found her behavior to be so disgusting I deleted my comments just to get rid of her and her outright misinformation. She is being fed information that she has made herself believe while we have experts all over the globe disputing everything she says.

Kind of over romanticizing the "lobstering world" and over dramatizing the "struggles" I grew up on a near coast, lobstered for a living for 17 years...did ok. And went on to make a honest living in other parts of the marine industry. Never felt like a victim or the need to whine. The lobsters come from God or nature so you don't make anything , just harvest them,the rest of the industry exists from the rich people from away that we luv to bash. It's the way it is. You go earn what you can. And where we grew up we were taught. "no one OWES YOU a damned thing"

If you can’t catch a lobster because it is 1/16 inch too small, you can catch it later once it sheds and it weighs more, So in the long run, your catch will be heavier

I thought Canada was going to change its measure at the same time, They increased the measure years ago.The industry did not collapse, Another increase will not destroy lobstering, .

I have empathy for the lobsterman, as a trapper I know how City people who are ignorant to our way of is, they create a bad image of things they don't understand.

I bet the noise from those windmills have a bigger effect on ocean life than any fisherman could possibly produce.

I recently watched a video that showed a tagged bug being caught. After he explained some of the reasons for tagging he took the information from said tag and released the lobster. Once he got in touch with the people that tagged it. They determined that that lobster traveled about 140 miles from the Bay of Fundy. Where it was tagged! Explain that PPH! Lobster Fisher people, because it's not just men are better at assuring a sustainable fishery than any govt.agency. And 100% percent better than these folks with an agenda. Who by the way aren't opposed to eating those sweet, tasty bugs. Shame on the PPH and the BG! And especially Penelope pit stop and her entourage!

Has the "radical energy" output from turbines been calibrated do as to determine the electro influence & 'build up to water. Water & electricity do not mix...usually fries. Lighting charges might serve as more defined electric energy; whereas turbine radical energy any seepage from insulations is undefined...to both ocean water and potable 🚰 water. Will this water after turbine electrical charges adversely influence human cerebral neoro circuits...similar analogous to and with water & lead, yet transparent with minimal diagnostic remedies other that Ai machine upgrades to the Human condition & physical body?

The Passamaquoddy Tribe is always left in the dark until the last minute! Our bay is vital to our way of life! Industry has already taken away too much. The porpoise is an historically traditional food for the Passamaquoddy! Industry has dumped so much toxic waste into the bay that it has driven the mercury level in the porpoise and other marine life to such high levels that we can no longer fish the porpoise to provide food for our community! There are other alternative energy sources that have no impact on the environment! Why not put all this time and money into developing solar farms, etc? Oh, the turnaround time for the huge profits to start rolling in is too long! Stop thinking about the quick buck because if the earth and our environment continue to decline in its sustainability, you'll be burning those huge profits to stay warm!!!! Please, stop putting corporate greed and it's ever constant destructive business models first! Think about the future generations and what it might be like for them if our earth is abused to the point of no return!!!!!!

Reminds us of the summers we spent vacationing on Swans Island in the 1970's and beyond with our family visiting my Army buddy, a lifelong Swans Island resident. We miss the 3 post offices, and stores, the campgrounds, the Everett Libby, the Colebeth's, Sonny Nadia, Jake & lori and Family, Nancy, and Betty, and life as it was then. its a shame what thew governenment and officials due to our fishery .there making it impossible for any young man to make a living favoring the high roller boats. you gotta either be born in to the game or have deeP $$ pockets just to be in debt . i want to get a student permit for my son just to help his future and educatiion.but im almost aure bye the time hes old enough they will run that too .ive done hardwood flooring and commercial fished my whole life and im only 41 and still cant be comfortable raising my family because the big dicks keep making it harder and harder

I would be most worried about the impending bankruptcy of Red Lobster and closings. They are 46% of the lobster market. That’s going to be a big hit for the industry.

Maine tradition and it's trades, are lacking we have lost the shoe industry except for new balance, which China owns and the local wood mills?! Who is going to teach the next generation of tradition?
