Canada has a successful conservation policy of seasonal closures everywhere but the gray zone .Most seasons in Canada are two months long with some as long as 6 months or so , the gray zone is overfished but that was because of American policy of an open fishery without closures . We're not destroying your fishery but I agree that your conservation methods have much worth
@@TheREALLibertyOrDeath we v notch females over 110 mm here in our district . plus it's a two month season here . april 19 to june 20 . 250 traps and 300 or so licences . this year was our best year ever .
The only thing that is endangered in the lobster industry is the lobster man does anyone now that they are autioning off the gulf of Maine this week to put up off shore wind mills the grid in Maine is in terrible shape take a look at the power poles there is no infrastructure for the wind mills
If you can’t catch a lobster because it is 1/16 inch too small, you can catch it later once it sheds and it weighs more, So in the long run, your catch will be heavier

What about the rockweeding happening does that have an affect ?

I say all the time, "blind faith" needs no religion. We see this all the time in 'science' now a days.
