Are you parting that car? I’m looking for a complete rear TT subframe

I had these rollers installed today. A few weeks ago I put new seals around the door and t-top seals, on both sides. And both sides are still leaking in at the carwash. Does anyone else have this problem? Ran a wire to make sure the t-top drains were not plugged. Maybe the drains were just overloaded by the massive amounts of water at a touchless carwash?

What tune did you use for your na tt swap? I have a 96 just curious

Per specialty Z recommendation, they set my idle to 900 RPM before custom tuning. I had it set to 750 prior to arrival. This update was great for cold start, idle and everything in between. Dyno video ua-cam.com/video/05eothf5GB8/v-deo.html

I have the greddy PE exhaust as well and love the sound. The smoke could be from residue on the hot exhaust piping.

whole cars have better pay days, but.... complete cars have a million times more headaches. shit has to be perfect or no sale. parts. parts are parts. they whole? ok, whats the price lol.

that is a low pressure line, just replace it with braided line.

Any tuner worth using can tune it on 93. It just won’t make huge power. Tune it on both. Having it e85 only is a huge issue

I understand your frustration, I think it’s best when you get in these situations to step back. Even for a couple of days. Regardless of a rebuild title. Those cars are timeless. Just relax you’re very talented with these cars. It’ll all come to a head

The seat belt thing confuses me. I have three 1990 NAs that all have the seatbelt on the pillar. Some people say early models have it on the door and some people say late models have it on the door. I have no idea… lol

Ahhhhh, the joys of working on a VG. Been there done that, check your coolant hoses behind the plenum if you have any. Other than that it may be a leak on one of the valve covers.. Hopefully you won’t have to part it out.

Going through the same issue right now, with the smoke from the turbo I just put it all together and it seems I’ll have to take the engine back out, I’m doing this on a concrete floor in 100 degrees with no garage lol I’d suggest sticking to one car
