@ yeah I believe those are AMS smoke timing covers. I reused my oem covers with the ZSpec bolts and didn’t have this problem. I’m glad you did your due diligence and figured it out before some other issue popped up 😎

That may have been the coolant I heard it a few times editing haha. I do have to replace my roof soon. Drip edge is on wrong and causing water to curl under the overhang. Plenty of boards need replaced too🤕

Its moreso about me keeping my word with myself I suppose. Mainly because I catered the intro to Thanksgiving because at that time I was on schedule, but as I should have known nothing goes fully to plan😂 I appreciate the words though fr🙏 I'm a procrastinator at heart so I have to keep at myself😂

@NedacSnosrap I procrastinate a lot also and I understand that it's difficult to always keep your word with yourself. If I can "coach" you for only a brief second... Would you let me say... I would always look back and find that I wasn't taking something seriously enough. Maybe that's applicable to you, maybe not. You seem pretty serious about these Z's. And so maybe your procrastinating is only a secondary symptom of something else. For me there was a bigger picture I wasn't realizing., a few. "This is my job now" that was a big one for me. As surreal as things became for me I was still procrastinating and I wasn't taking it seriously enough... When implemented tools of self discipline, it became easier to keep my own promises to me. Buy a white dry erase board and... Get er done! 😎

I only replace it when its torn or broken. 9/10 times once it goes on and goes through multiple heat cycles, it will stick to either the lower or upper plenum when removing. If its fully in tact, send it. With this being said, fel-pro is the best gasket with chances to be reused. Oem is best, but less likely to be able to be reused.

Iirc i had about 4 hours to get this full job done so I was on it😂🔥

I don't have any bits or tap sets at the shop currently so I just swapped it out🙂 Long standing internal debate of ls swapping a z, I just feel like it takes the soul from the car and you're just left with character. Id personally prefer a nissan 5.7 or straight 6 but who knows! Trying to grab a gen 4 this week so anything is possible 😎
