Come with me as I blow away the cobwebs, walk of the Christmas Chocolates and enjoy a few days on the South Devon coast celebrating New Years Eve. We stayed in a very budget and dog friendly travel lodge, less than a minute from the beach.
We stopped off in Teignmouth on the way down and had a familiar walk around the point and onto harbour beach before having a drink on the quayside and passing Keats house.
After the short drive on to Paignton we checked into the Travel lodge and spent the evening walking along the prom, having fun in the amusements on the pier and having a bag of chips sitting on the front.
This is day 1, day 2 to follow soon, where we go see some wonderful free illuminations in Torquay and have a great meal on the Harbourside.
