If you want to parallel to real life, it's not that men aren't allowed to be men, It's that in order to win, you have to play the underdog and the poor victim ( flopping). If you recall in the 80's they had a selfish league of players who didn't care about winning or losing and the games were on tape delay. It took a rivalry with Bird and Magic who were unselfish players who made everything about winning to bring the league back and then MJ in the 90's. I don't know currently if that can happen again with the soft rules and players like Lebron as the face of the league. Lebron needs to do everyone a favor and retire he is the downfall along with the 3 point shooting.

I have a legit way to show why Bird is better than Bron as an SF. If you add the 5 major stats ( average in career) you will found out that Bird got 43.2 Bron got 44.2 And MJ 44.7 Pretty close, but with that, his athleticism and longevity Bron is ahead of Bird. Now let's breaking down Both are very good scorer (24ppg and 27ppg) But when Mr pass 1st guy is an above average passer with 7apg Larry is, you can say an elite rebounder with 10rpg, and with 6apg one more time they are pretty close. But rebound is more valuable somehow because it's 3 more possessions gain for the team. When to score 3pts more it's 1 to 5 more possessions used by LeBron James with his shooting percentage. That's my 1st reason. My 2nd point is stronger, as far as I know, Bird is not ball dominant. So he produce close to as much as LeBron but without the ball in his hand, so other players can do their thing. To me that's the nail on the coffin, a no brainer anymore.
