Ant would get as tired chasing Reggie miller around screens all game like he did claiming exhaustion from guarding kyrie last yr 😂😂😂
Yeah it’s sad people can’t think that deep and actually think these soft guy’s stand a chance against dude that dealt with more and felt more pain than what they complain about
Oh 100% with Reggie. Imagine him trying to D up MJ all game in the playoffs. He'd die lol
Imagine him chasing Rip or Ray. Good luck
I SAW A GAME IN WHICH REGGIE MILLER RAN BASELINE & CAME AROUND FOR THE PASS TO SHOOT,,,DEFENDER HAD TO GET THRU 3 SCREENS SET BY ANTONIO DAVIS,,,DALE DAVIS & RIK SMITS!!!!🏀🏀🏀🫡🫡🫡
GOOGLE THE HEIGHT & WEIGHT OF DALE DAVIS,,,ANTONIO DAVIS & RIK SMITS!!!!
LET THAT SINK IN!!!
He would but Ant would be right there with him tbh. He loves that type of stuff. Ant has the heart like the old school. I believe he would rise to the occasion but he would be a heck of a lot more humble than he is now.
No Goats in any sport has a losing finals record !! Goats are know for Winning NOT stats !!! Especially while having the most help. KOBE was Beating the teams Lebron couldn’t Beat 🤷🏾♂️. D HOWARD 1-0 vs Lebron. DIRK 1-0 vs Lebron. DUNCAN 2-1 vs Lebron ( even beat the Heat super team at age 38). KAWHI 1-1 vs Lebron. CURRY 3-1 vs Lebron. KD 2-1 vs Lebron JOKER 2-1 vs Lebron. So when did Lebron dominate ? Just stats ? Can’t ignore the 6losses. Can’t ignore 2007,2011 and 2014. Can’t ignore Lebron missing the playoffs his first 2 years while D Wade and Melo made it. Ilgauskus and Mo Williams were also All Stars. Ben Wallace and Jamison were on those 60+ win Cavs teams Can’t ignore “The Decision “ which was weak as hell. D Wade was in his draft class and already won a Finals MVP. Wade was the league’s 3rd best player at the time. And he’s the 3Rd Best SG of all time And Lebron fans always bring up Rodman going to the Bulls but he was 34 years old. If that’s the case. Ben Wallace ,Drummond, Gasol and Shaq played with Lebron
LeBron has never dominated the game. He’s always been dominated.. like you said Kobe Tim Duncan Seth Curry, . And the others you mentioned Michael Jordan dominated his era once he got to the finals No one was able to stop him. And another thing Jordan played in the toughest era of basketball and he had to work for all his accomplishments while LeBron is in the weakest league and everything has been done to cater to him for him to succeed and he still failed so all the stats that he has gotten, don’t mean anything because he has gotten him in the weakest league ever where there’s no defense where he doesn’t get called for travels or for offensive fouls. And get rewarded to the file line for flopping. This guy is a complete joke. He’s an embarrassment and the most manufacturer player to ever come into the game of basketball so his accomplishments mean nothing because of the way he has gone a bottom that’s why he’ll never be a Kobe Bryant. That’s why he’ll never be a Tim Duncan Seth Curry and for sure will never reach Jordan..
If you want me to be honest with you out of LeBron’s draft class, I think Dwyane Wade was the best player that came out out of there. He’s the first one to have won the championship and was also a finals MVP in that draft class and he just had that killer mentality about winning with LeBron lacks to me the way it was the best player out of the three of them. And I’m tired of people saying that LeBron had a bad team and that’s why he didn’t make the playoffs his first two seasons I don’t wanna hear that excuse because when Jordan was a rookie, he played in the worst Bulls team, but still took him to the playoffs every year that he was there so that excuse about LeBron having a bad team so the Jordan, but that was not an excuse Jordan Rose to the occasion and took his team there. The Miami Heat team made it to the finals four years in a row, and both losses were because of LeBron.
Totally agreed 💯👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@@editorodriguez6554 I agree 💯💯💯. I have D Wade ranked above Lebron

Hahahahahahaha
I don't always agree with Chuck, but I love how Chuck is always honest and unfiltered. He doesn't do it for attention, that's just who he is going all the way back to when he started in the NBA.
And he's right - it isn't on the players. The NBA, from the top, created this new culture. And it's killing the game. Or maybe it's already killed it, and we're all just whistling past the graveyard.
Same here with Chuck. I really appreciate honesty even if i disagree. Rather someone be real.
I think we all know that LeBron is the biggest issue. They changed rules to cater to him. Kept playing in a season of a virus of u specified origin just so he could win another chip. Created the in season tournament for him. So. While I agree the nba is at fault. It is because of LeBron.
There's some very talented players (as there's always been), but part of this is on the players as well. They're divas now. Spoiled. Unlikeable. Too much left politics. Lazy. Don't respect history. Etc.
Jordan, Kobe, Chuck, Shaq, etc respected the greats even when they didn't see eye to eye or greats hated on them.
Dr J hated Jordan. Kareem hated Shaq. Yet you didn't hear Jordan and Shaq saying those dudes were plumbers.
Kobe made a freaking documentary respecting the legends. Yet these new dudes think they're IT, and I'm tired of that.
@@alexzapf6422it's wholly the NBA's fault for picking him, then regardless of the facts forcing him to the top.
Cream rises to the top, he is salt.
We whistling past the graveyard
Back in chucks days, they played back to backs, flew commercial, showered in their jerseys when a game was the next day… lmao.
the pay is a problem today when guys don’t have the ambition of yesterdays guys
Exactly. Man, people all over the world would still fight to get into the nba if the salaries were more like $10 mil instead of $50 mil. Its just an unnecessary amount of money to pay someone for 1 year.
Kenny Smith said it great on this (the Jacksons) show something similar to - you didn’t hear about two way players because they weren’t special everyone did offense and defense. If you didn’t, you didn’t play.
@@TheRealMindCrime it starts with the owners 🤷♂️ They get half, while the players, coaches, and staff get the other half 🤷♂️ If what the owners pay the players gets under your skin, don't even THINK about the owners salary 😅

It’s a shame Barkley is going to be neutered by ESPN
Maybe not. I think it's no coincidence they taking him now when lebozo is almost out of the league.
He’ll retire before that happens. Charles isn’t a shill like LeShannon and SAS.
I seriously doubt that.😂😂😂😂
We all know black people get paid to talk bad about black people on espn
He won't, they'll treat him like Pat McAfee. If they don't let Barkley and Shaq and the rest of the inside the nba crew to be themselves, then it's wasted money.
I like Charles Barkley honesty. He's not afraid to speak his mind on situations regarding the modern NBA. Haha! the way he said "Oh, BBQ chicken!" with confidence. If today players had to live the way Charles Barkley described life back then, they couldn't hang with Barkley in the post-up game. That was a nice story of him and Michael Jordan competing against each other. The way he tells his story of him and Michael Jordan, they were ready to compete whenever they face each other.
That got me laughing hard lol
13:30 THANK YOU!!! Dudes say that players are more athletic today, but we still haven't seen any player, before nor after, who is all-around more athletic than Michael Jordan. I'm still waiting to see a player hang in the air for almost an eternity before absorbing the contact from a center and/or twisting his body and making a no-look layup all before hitting the ground and landing on his feet, without looking sloppy, but making it all look like poetry-in-motion. Where some players have more strength, they don't have Michael Jordan's combination of strength and speed. Where some players have more speed, they don't have Michael Jordan's combination of speed and hops. Where some players have more hops, they don't have Michael Jordan's combination of hops and acrobatic agility. Where some players have more agility, they don't have Michael Jordan's combination of agility, speed, strength, hops, hangtime, endurance, et cetera, et cetera. In general, NBA players today are more athletic than past NBA players, but specifically speaking, 13:31 "Who's more atheltic than Michael Jordan? Nobody.....NOBODY!!!!" -Sir Charles Barkley 🏀💯
Well said! This is why i love chuck btw. He just says the truth and doesn't think twice about it
There is no athlete of the guys of that era. Mj, Bo Jackson, Shaq, Devon Sanders, Mike Tyson. That athletes of the guys that came into sports in that 1985-92 range were insane.
Nobody said more athletic than jordan. It's there are more athletes in today's game than just mj, Clyde drexler, and Shawn Kemp. We got role players that jump higher than mj. Derrick joner jr
@dionpace22 You must be deaf. Click the timestamp, or perhaps you don't understand English. Read your comment, click the timestamp and listen to what Charles Barkley said, read your comment, read my comment, and then get lost. 😅 SMH. 🤦♂️
Excellent post.
The biggest thing that kids today don't understand about MJ is that he was the most famous person on the planet. Period. China loved him. Japan loved him. Europe, Australia, they all loved him. There were millions of people worldwide who knew who Michael Jordan was and had no clue what basketball was. LeBron in his wildest dreams was and never will be that famous.
Thats exactly right. I hear people in Europe and Asia talk about Kobe and MJ. Not Lebron.
LeBron is known amongst Americans and sports fans. MJ was known by everyone, my grandma knew who he was while never seen a basketball game in her life and that was during the time when the internet did not exist yet. LeBron has social media promoting him and people still don’t know him, other than sports fans
Michael Jordan always lived in the Shadow of another MJ., Michael Jackson.
Any old grand mother in Asia would know who MJ was back in the 80s and 90s... All that with no social media, no live NBA games.
Thats an absolute lie. Jordan has never been the most popular person on the planet.😅😅😅
The lengths yall go to
I loved his point about "if I knew I could've teamed up with MJ, I could've got a few rings too." So many great players from that era would've had rings if it weren't from MJ.
100% MJ ruined dreamed in the 90s lol
Not to mention the NBA didn’t let CP3 team up with Kobe, they knew it would ruin their Golden Goose and this ridiculous argument that LeBron is the GOAT wouldn’t even exist. Kobe was carrying with Gasol as their 2nd best player - imagine him with CP3. The whole James/Wade/Bosh combo would’ve gotten embarrassed and LeBron would be down a few more rings.
@@CapsFanprime cp3 never got a chance to play with consistent all stars that actually wanted to win like Kobe. Blake griffin was a one dimensional player, Deandre Jordan was just a avg big man. Paul Pierce was washed. When he got to the suns he was 34.
But he did team up to ring chase lol
@ he already talked about that. Nba legends don’t look at it as wrong if you are at the tail end of your career 35+ yo and team up with other washed up players. That’s like criticizing Paul Pierce for going to the clippers where he avg like 6 pts
Barkley speaking the truth 💯
Love him or hate him Chuck is always honest
Charles is taking no prisoners
I'm really glad he's speaking out
Like he took no rings.
@cedricessono6158 because he played in MJ era. In leflop/Steph era he would win championship.
@@orinocoPL Lies. How would you know that? You a fortune teller now?
@cedricessono6158 rotfl. By the same logic, you can't prove me wrong. Then again, lebozo lost to underdogs so many times, that Barkley would have bigger chance to in his era than in MJ era.
Late 80s- early 90s power forwards were some of the fiercest dudes. Imagine having to go through the Texas road trip facing Terry Cummings (Spurs), Roy Tarpley (Mavs), and Otis Thorpe (Rockets). Or going up to the Northwest facing Michael Cage (Sonics), Buck Williams (Blazers), then Karl Malone (Jazz). All gritty, all tough..
100% yes
80s was tough and exciting. 90s was tough and boring with 8 players standing on one sidelines while two guys went 1v1 and 83-78 games were everywhere.
Lakers, Kings, Mavs in early 2000s brought excitement and sizzle back.
Today's coaches what do they do?All 5 guys stand around the 3 chuck up a shot. Why does every team every position play the same? That's not basketball
Because its all based on data analytics now instead of a coach getting to assess his talent and create a gameplan. The human aspect of the game is gone. Data says more 3s = more points and more points wins. So they keep doing it. This is why i want the 3 pointer removed from the game temporarily at least to throw the analytics out the door for a while.
Warriors been tryna move away from 3pt spamming since they can’t hit the ocean lately, so I’m just saying they might me quality hoops after further development
I don't think it's just coaches...the rules make it so you can't touch players, so how you gonna defend that if players just can freely throw over you...
@@TheRealMindCrimelol that won’t happen we should have a four point shot from behind half court and it will really draw attention to a shooting only league
I think allowing more defensive rules would help return parity of game styles back to the league. It's harder to chuck 3's when a dude has his forearm on your chest.
the game of zones painting behing Chuck hahahahahhha, love that show
Lol
Forget the Mailman or Chuck. Draymond won't even be able to survive the Davis boys from Indiana, or Oakley or Anthony Mason.
The NBA reached its peak in size, strength, speed, and hops in the 90s watch Bulls Lakers games from 90/91in the open court the game was as creative and free flowing as it is today minus the traveling, palming, charging, and lack of defense you see today you had Magic, Worthy, and Byron Scott, Jordan, Pippen, and Grant on the break the change is in the game every thing is open court the players are not bigger stronger faster or more athletic in general that's all hype, by the way Barkley was crazy good on the break he would have been great in todays free-flow game
agreed
The name you were looking for is Sammy Sosa. Him, Mcguire and Cal Ripken saved baseball after the strike with their record breaking seasons.
Yes Sammy Sosa lol. That was frustrating cuz i had just said his name a minute prior to totally forgetting his name. Stupid brain lol
As for that story chuck talking about. I heard him say that before bout 84 trials. I love sir Charles man the man is totally secure in himself and what he did in his career and he has no problem talking up his peers. I dnt care if he nvr won a title he was a beast nothing but love for him
5:21 My not-so-hot take is that the ratings are down because fans are tired of seeing the same old "face of the NBA" for twenty-two (22) years. Twenty-two (22) years is literally three (years) short of a quarter of a century. But it's not only seeing LeBron James' face constantly and consistently for almost a quarter of 100 years, but it's everything that comes with LeBron James including: #1 and this to me is a much bigger reason than the inferior style of play.....with LeBron James comes the injection of social and political issues into professional sports. This alone has alienated fans and made people feel very uncomfortable. I guess that you may be able to partially get away with politicizing sports, if the product was entertaining, and this is where the uninteresting soft style of play enters the conversation. So if you're going to politicize the NBA and feed the media and fans a substandard product, then behold the 25-55% emphatic decrease in viewership ratings. Some will say that the fix has to start at the top with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, but I say that it's a bit naive to believe, at this point, that Adam Silver is at the top of the National Basketball Association, when it's pretty obvious that Queen LeBron James, Princess Rich Paul, and the laughable kingdom of Klutch Sports control Adam Silver, and by proxy, they control the NBA players and other NBA employees. When many NBA franchises, NBA teams, and NBA players didn't want to play in the 2020 NBA Bubble, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't Commissioner Adam Silver who made these multi-million-dollar professional athletes play in the fan-less arena in Orlando, Florida for several months back in 2020, during a historic global pandemic. In fact, it was then Clippers guard, Patrick Beverly, who infamously said and I quote, "if LeBron James said he hooping, we all hooping," end quote. Adam Silver can't force LeBron James, nor anybody else, to: care about defense, to play harder, to shoot from the mid-range, to stop load-managing, to play in the post, to share the ball, to stop "hero-ball", to participate in the NBA All-Star Slamdunk contest, to stop jacking up the 3-ball, to stop turning the ball over, to stop building houses with all of those big bricks, to take the NBA All-Star Game more seriously, et cetera, et ceteta. To paraphrase Patrick Beverly, "if LeBron James is load-managing, jacking up 3s, airballing freethrows, dismissing both the All-Star Game and the Slamdunk contest, if he's constantly load-managing, being lazy on defense while committing a bevy of turnovers and missed field goals, and having fun at Diddy's parties, then they all doing the same thing, religiously. Not to mention that Adam Silver is very much unlike his predecessor, the late great Commissioner David Stern. So does the necessary and dramatic repairs start at the top? Yes. Does the the necessary and dramatic repairs start with Adam Silver? NO!!!!! NEVER!!!!!
I mostly agree with you, what baffles me is people being so scared of politics entering the sports world. How could it not? The issue is it would take over the sport to an unnecessary level and distract from the game. I definitely think the fans (especially those so anal about politics being in sports even though it's present everywhere) overreacted and we all know that in order for something to go away, you don't give it attention. Also not all politics in the nba was bad, just poorly implemented. Standing up for rights especially when the league is 80 percent black.... is not a bad thing but the fans treated it as such because of how busy it is in other parts of life. I get that sports is used as an escape for some but that's not all. People rely on athletes that look like them to speak for them on platforms they cannot be on. Just my two cents.
I agree. Too much promoting Lebron when there are younger and more exciting players to focus on. We're all bored with him
Grand rising my friend
Good morning! ☕️
Great episode bro i love hearing these old heads talk
Thanks bro! I do too!
I have immense admiration for Charles Barkley. To be sure, he's not flawless, yet he remains true to himself without displaying disrespect. He gives an impression of sincerity.
Exactly. No one is perfect so I'm glad he doesn't pretend. Being genuine is something I appreciate a lot in a person. Authenticity should be valued much more than it is these days
Larry Bird played against the Pacers after fracturing a bone in his face…he played with a bad back…tough as nails back in the day…💪😎
Yup. He also went back in a game with a concussion and won the game for his team too. Forgot who they were playing. Bird is a man
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so glad you chose this video to react to. The player salaries are wonderful! Due to their salaries, endorsements, etc, they make enough money to hire the best strength, conditioning & recovery people. I am lucky to make $60,000.00 per year. If any player making 5 to 60 million dollars a year needs load management with the training and recovery tools we have now in 2025, then they deserve to be benched without pay from the NBA or their endorsements. If they implemented those rules, you would find all of the players defending against implementing load management to the point of a possible lockout.
Love your videos!
Thank you!
Charles Barkley looks like a sassy secretary who forgot to bring her wig to work
Lol. He's got old lady glasses on
Receivers in the old days faced much more physical defenses than they do today. Everything about the passing game was more difficult. It's not just that QBs couldn't play as long as they do today, they weren't gonna have the same kind of completions or TDs that they have today, and many more INTs.
Good points
probably one of my favorite guests on mark Jackson's podcast
Agreed. They chilled out like old friends
Antman chasing Ray or Reggie off picks for 25-33 minutes a night...the guy who after being eliminated in the playoffs sat there and said "I just didn't train enough to play the full season so I got tired" man give me a break. Imagine telling a construction worker that spent 10 hours on a site 2 days in a row because that's his JOB that you can't shoot a ball in the net for 25 minutes a few times a week?
I'll push back a bit on the narrative of LeBalco being squeaky clean...it's not that there's no stories it's that the media ignores anything that makes LeBron's reputation questionable or claim HE EARNED THIS narrative.

Chuck didn’t mention the Stat padding and the Ref‘s trying their best to make LeFraud win!
If chuck had a super team, he would’ve won more rings than LeChoke! For sure
Lebron would get killed in the 90’s. Rodman, Barkley, Karl Malone are stopping him. The knicks would have him on his ass and he ain’t getting past Shaq. He is a Joke and playing in the softest league which was catered to him his stats don’t mean anything because of how they made the game easy for him and didn’t have to really work and earn your stats like Jordan and Kobe. And with how soft and how they catered the league to him. He still has been a failure.
@
Amen
Absolutely he would have. His best bud was MJ so he could've joined the Bulls
@
There is a clip from old angry hoops fan, LeFraud gets a rebound without touching the ball, he is on he 3 point line!
He has a tripple Double in this game, with exactly 10 rebounds!
In reality he had a quadruple double, he had also 10 turnovers 😅
The offensive strategy is the "pick up game mentality!" The only thing missing is, "who got next!"
When I hear people debate how the 2017 Warriors stackup against older great teams, I'm shocked how no one talks about how much of a defensive liability Draymond Greem would be. Even when Draymond and Rasheed Wallace went at it about a Warriors/Pistons matchup, Draymond was only taller than Chauncy Billups on that 2004 Pistons team. Rip Hamilton was 6'6", Tayshaun Prince was 6'9", Rasheed Wallace was 6'11", and Ben Wallace was 6'9". Now imagine little Draymond trying to defend Barkley or Malone. 🤣🤣🤣
The game where Sir Charles scored 44 points and 22 rebounds against the Bulls was incredible! I very much like Michael Jordan but really wanted, Sir Charles, to win that championship because he wanted it so freaking bad!
Draymond even against prime Larry Johnson. Game over!
Facts!
Its literally a slap in the face of the American people we are done with it
Yeah they're just so disconnected from their fans now in every way. We can't relate to them nowadays
I need for someone to justify for me why they think Draymond Green is a Hall of Fame player? There's a guy from my favorite era named Anthony Mason (R.I.P.) was better than Draymond Green and his has NEVER been brought up in any kind of H.O.F conversation, so why is Draymond?!!! I don't want to hear anything about being part of a great team because Robert Horry was better than Draymond Green and has 7 rings as a 6th man so don't go there
Because as much as there is stuff to dislike about him, Draymond has been a key player defensively for the warriors everytime he plays. The warriors dynasty was built on the foundation of the trio of Steph, Klay and Dray. Steph, Klay and later KD handled the offense while Draymond handled the defense momentum of the team.
In their championship runs Draymond has always been a key defensive player. Not just a 6th man like you said about Robert.
Yes Mason was all around better
Every player on a championship team was a key contributor to that team winning the championship, not all of them belong in the HoF…. Fuck out of here with your idiocy to claim Green belongs in
There are players that are much better than him that aren’t in the HoF
Just stop
@sammydray5919 I'm not saying anything about Draymond Green as a person at all. I'm strictly referencing their basketball abilities and the only thing Green has over Anthony Mason would slightly be assists and that's it. Draymond Green's reputation and his fake dominance is 100% because of being in a team with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson period!! There's an argument for Green making it more difficult on the Splash Bros because of his propensity to get Flagrant and Technical Fouls and much like Rodman with the Bulls he was very lucky to have teammates that were able to overcome his antics!! Just facts boss
@Rent-A-Center 100% FACTS
Every time I hear players talk about Michael Jordan and his greatness I get chills because they realize just like we realize he was and always will be the goat. He is in another world. There’s no one even close it just it’s amazing.

That tortoise and the hare analogy had me puzzled. I was like “so now LeBron James is a tortoise?” Haha!
😆
It’s so funny Charles just says what everyone is thinking and makes it so easy to understand lol
nice duplicate comment for the algorithm lol. Thank you
Larry Bird literally broke his face against the Pacers in the playoffs and came back out of the locker room to win the game in the most incredible fashion. Guys like Bird, MJ, Kobe, etc don’t exist today.
Eventually we’re gonna have 20 million dollar bench warmers.
Its not even a joke lol. It'll probably happen in my lifetime
Funny Blue used the tortoise and the hare story, anybody remember how the tortoise cheated and Bugs didn't cause he didn't have to? Also, let me throw out some names Draymond would've had trouble with, Kevin Willis, Otis Thorpe, Derek Coleman, Horace Grant, Larry Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Antoin Carr, Tom Chambers, Dennis Rodman, Tim Duncan...the list is larger. Tortoise and the hare...lmfao!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Not to mention Barkley himself would dominate Draymond lol
Finally somebody said it. The Pistons although a great team....they were literally trying to injure players.
Yeah. That was too far and I'm glad the rules changed to stop that in the 90s.
That Bad Boyz Pistons team was no more physical than other teams of that era. They didnt lead the league in fouls, technical fouls, or suspensions.
@Cakebattered Bro cut out the bs. I literally witnessed the mess. Them boys were trying to injure MJ. Bridging players in the air is beyond physical play.
Dude, when Bluu brought up the tortoise and the hare, I was like... you do know that the tortoise still finished before the hare, right? His analogy isn't even correct. If he's gonna use that analogy, the tortoise is MJ because he paced himself and got to the end of his run coming out the winner. The hare was a loud mouth, arrogant contender talking/yapping how he's the greatest and still lost. So sorry, Bluu. You don't make sense. Just another exposure of how lame these Lebunk fans are.
Yea that part was stupid. It's not a race it's a matter of lebum taking wayy more time to even get close to Mike's accomplishments. Dude just wanted to meat ride.
Lol its so true. His analogy is completely broken
Basketball did not go global in 1992. It was already global. It became global in American eyes in 1992.
Why do we all act like the rest of the world all of a sudden started to play basketball. Yes, in the Olympics we are dominant (in the fact that we win) but check the scores.
That's what I miss the most.Head to head best player on best player. You see LeBron doing that ever?
Nope. We got to see Ant guard Kyrie in the playoffs last year but that ended up with Ant realizing he needs to get in better shape 😆
*TRUE NBA FANS ARE TIRED OF NOT EXACTLY THE SAME PLAYER FOR ALMOST 22 SEASONS BUT THEY KEEP FEEDING THE SAME LIE THAT HE'S THE GOAT, BUTT LEBRON JAMES LOSING 6 TITLES AND GETTING MAN HANDLE BY JASON TERRY A BENCH PLAYER AND ALWAYS STACKING HIS TEAMS TO TRY TO CATCH THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME PLAYING BASKETBALL MICHAEL JORDAN 😎💯 IS JUST EXHAUSTING IN IT SELF SO JUST CONCENTRATE ON THE GAME CAUSE NO ONE WILL EVER BE LIKE MIKE 🙏*

My freshman year on JV, we had black and white Converse for game shoes. My 3 years on Varsity we had Nike's. I liked the Nikes better because they had a narrower shoe. I played JV in the 1987 & 88 season, to show my old freaking age😂
Barry Bonds belongs in the Hall of Fame
To all these fools saying players are just more talented now, let's just set the rules back to 1995 and let's see how your guys do.
LeBron would be averaging 12 ppg right now. Some of these dudes would go from superstar to role player REAL QUICK. 😂
Agreed
Today’s game is low effort and low IQ. Players think about their money, their brand and then the game. They don’t care about basketball, they care about fame. It’s disgusting, and if you aren’t willing to play and put in the work, you shouldn’t be in the league. And the fact that current and ex players are neutered and can’t speak truth without adding needless caveats to protect egos, is sad and honestly a bit spineless.
Love Chuck honesty 💪🏽 i disagree some of the time but he is admirable :)
I totally agree
BRO I AGREE ...PAYTON TO ME WAS BETTER THAN TOM BRADY ....
He really was the better qb imo. But Brady has those rings stacked so i give him his flowers. I do take a lot of joy that my Giants beat them twice in the superbowl lol
The referees are making it worse, they are NOT calling what needs to be called 👍! Favoritism!!
Yeah but if Silver had a problem with it then he'd correct the refs.
NBA should bring back handchecking. They can keep the 3 second defensive rule. That might be an acceptable compromise.
How is it that the TV deal is going to 5x
But no one is watching?
You said Amazon is buying it maybe if people can just stream the games whenever it'll work but idk it doesn't make sense to me
This is the bubble that i think will pop finally. They paid high dollar on something that is going down in value fast. Either they fix the game fast or we see a crash in the nba real soon.
I thought that was steph curry
@realmindcrime another great video. Love the channel!
Thank you phil!
Also the funny thing is we have players come to the NBA now and play fundamental and dominate. Back in the day that's how they played.
Charles said broken face because he had to wear that face mask when he broke his face playing.
The nba has been watered down so much in favor of easy scoring, soft as tissue defense, and huge increase in teams jacking up 3-point shots while allowing star players to use load management whenever they don’t “feel” like playing…. No wonder teams don’t need or require a person to have ANY legitimate coaching experience in order to be hired, like JJ Redick…The players coach themselves and then blame the coach when they lose…The Lakers are a prime example of this scenario…. how a great franchise chose to sell its soul to one player that embodies selfishness, star padding, and load management while playing zero defense and never bring held accountable for his poor shooting and doing nothing to help his teammates get better…. The NBA is becoming the wnba with each passing game… unwatchable!!
I agree with everything you said LeBron James has ruined the NBA and has ruined one of the greatest franchise in NBA history and has turned them into the biggest joke and it’s sad that players like Jerry West Magic Johnson, Kareem, Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant made that franchise what it was all LeBron James to come and destroy it and has audacity to want them to build a statue of him when he has done nothing for that franchise. And the thing that I do not agree with you is comparing the NBA to the WNBA because I think the WNBA at this point is better than what the NBA has become. Those women seem tougher than the man in the NBA..
If Kobe was still here he'd call the whole league Charmin
7 more years and he's still behind MJ in 30 point games. 7 more years and he's STILL 2 rings behind MJ, not to mention the 6 Finals losses he's stacked up. The real GOAT left LeBron in the dust a long, long time ago.
If Adam Silver wants us to really pay attention to the NBA again, just tell the refs to call travelling, carrying the ball, and the moving screens. That's really all that's needed. The rest would take care of itself, I think.
☝️ 💯
The traveling piece is out. What they do in the NBA is legal ONLY in the NBA. They would have to change the rule regarding the gather step or zero step. All the other points, I agree.
10:40 miller and the physicality of screens by Dale and Antonio Davis.
☝️
Two brick walls lol
That "people act like we got swept," comment was aimed at Lebrawd
I think so too lol
It would be awesome if time machines were real and we could match them up in their prime. Could you imagine the pay preview rating on those games lol
Oh man I'd be going to every game i could afford if prime mj got unleashed on this league 😆
I say ‘96 was their toughest matchup but that’s just me 🤷🏾♂️😂😂 18:38
Barkley's best point was on the athleticism comparisons. I'm so tired of this nonsense that today's players are more athletic. When you compare player for player, you see how silly it is.
Btw, Chuck was legit 6'6". That was his listed height. That's how tall he was in his mug shot. He would've looked absolutely ridiculous going at 6'10" Shawn Kemp if he was the same height as Jeff Hornacek. 😂
Anthony edwards hurt my literally explode if he tries to chase prime Michael Jordan around if he was tired chasing around that Kyrie 😂
😆
Converse shoes. Black = Bird, Yellow = Magic don't know the other one if any?
Dr J had a red one. They were the trio
The bad boys of basketball GO PISTONS !
Hey your pistons are lookin a little better this year
Can't argue with Chuck right here. We old heads can't help but call this era of NBA the softest. Not only players get freedom of movement (no hand checking, no illegal defense, stricter fouls now getting called) they have less risks of getting severe injuries because of these.
But to load manage?? This crosses the line and a disrespect to fans who buy tickets (expensive tickets at that) only to find out their favorite players not playing that night.
And the blame is on NBA themselves, not the players. The NBA built the rules, and the players create culture around it.
Yeah i think Chuck was dead on correct here
The finals against the Suns and Barkley was the hardest the bulls ever had to fight. Jordan had damn near a perfect game average 40 and they still almost lost. That was the hardest championship for the bulls team.
Embiid would cry and be out 2 months after 1 quarter with Pat😂😂….. that’s funny!
😆
I would love to see Draymond pull his $hit against Karl Malone, LOL. It would be the last thing he did as a normally functional human. Karl was so scary he didn't need to threaten or talk smack he would remember the disrespect and make it look like an accident next time you dared to go inside. edit: Charles said that Lebron has never made a mistake as far as getting in trouble socially... "ain't no party like a Diddy party" resurfaced and he mysteriously took some time off, not saying he's automatically guilty but seems suspect to me.
Lol. One elbow from Karl and Draymond is done
Messi was balling at 17, Rooney at 16 Football(soccer) stories trump Lebron, but credit where its due, he has been great from day 1
Damn. That was a good one.
I really enjoyed this one too. People tend to open up a lot on Marks show.
BBQ Chicken!
😆 🤣 😂
I don't get why the league has allowed this to happen. The reason why it was hard to shoot 3s in the past is because it was hard to get open. If you stop allowing carrying and travelling and bring back hand checking + you don't allow illegal screens. All of a sudden it is hard for you to shoot clean threes and the efficiency of the three pointers will drop down quite significantly.
So, just police the sport properly and players will have to get closer to the basket.
If Chuck won’t say it I will, IT WAS BETTER!!!!!! Much, much better.
Yeah. It really was.
Today's athletes don't understand. For the average adult, being able to play basketball 2 days in a row is a luxury. For millions of adults, it's challenging to do that. So to expect us to respect guys who make that kind of money TO play multiple days through the week is a fantasy.
It's not even a 3 point shooting contest because guys are shooting from Kansas rather than the 3 point line lol. It's a 3 hour game of HORSE.
Lol well said. It is like horse
@@TheRealMindCrime Right lol. Guys are chucking up wild shots without letting guys get under the rim for the rebound. The basketball game I know most where no one worries about the rebound is HORSE lol.
Your intro, where you're talking about just jacking up 3s and whichever team is hotter wins...have you ever covered Kobe's "accidental basketball" comments? That's what it reminded me of.
I have indeed seen that. I guess it stuck with me huh? Lol. Kobe was 100% right imo
About the NFL comparison, it's actually a lot more nuanced.
Sure, there's no more crazy workhorse RBs who will run and pound the ball. Even modern top RBs share the ball. Also, QBs dont throw as much due to the two safety defense that limits WR routes.
I think NFL having a larger roster is less likely to be affected by rule changes, unlike the NBA
Thank you
The fact that younger people and these younger players think that these players sitting on the bench in designer clothes half or all the entire season, when they playing half-assed is "better, more skilled and deserves more money" than the players playing all or the majority of the games, going hard, playing intense defense and rough play, all of that is a lie.
agreed
BBQ CHICKEN BABY! CHARLES IS THE TRUTH!
😆 🤣 😂
In before we have coaches load managing
Oh that would be hilarious lol
Charles in white mode here, halving his nostrils with the bridge of his glasses. Nerd alert !
😆 🤣 😂
Don't forget Barkley ask for a trade to phoenix couldn't win there and went to Houston with hakeem and them ring chasing. But come at lebron for it. Kind of weird. He started this crap not lbj or Durant
The Suns traded Barkley. He wanted to stay in Phx.
I love the NBA. I find myself today watching the games to critique the officiating. Compare them to the real rules and see their agenda of spoiling unearned superstars the spotlight that they invest unnecessary money into instead of letting the athlete earn it.
Charles with the classic boomer up the nostril webcam placement. Glasses holding on for their life.
hahahahaha so true. better clip those nose hairs!
Hi, I don't understand how come so few people bring Kareem in that debate to face Lebron.
They said Bron make the finals 10 times that's greatness.
MJ side answer but he is 4-6, that's a losing record vs 6-0.
Bring Kareem up 10 finals 6-4, I'm curious about Bron side answer.
I suppose they will go by the era and that he was carry by big o and won 5 of his rings with Magic.
But how someone can be carry when he was fMVP for his 4th ring at 38yo and won his 6th mvp the year he won his 2nd ring despite playing with Magic.
And with big o he was a sophomore but end with his 1stMVP 1st ring and 1st fMVP and the bucks were a three year old team.
Yes he was aging with magic but was still relevant and yes maybe the competion for him was a little weaker in the 70s still he individualy dominate 11 years.
Stat leader 7 times all nba defensive team 11 times.
So more rings more mvp more stats leading more defensive team than LeBron, only flaw fmvp and I know stats wise LeBron is arguably better but we are talking about overall greatness.
And don't dare to forget about the fight against Bruce Lee 😊
Look at Josh heart we forget Charles was the Round mound rebound
yeah, the 1984 Olympic team, in another discussion, Sir Charles said that the coach ain't liking him because he said he didn't follow instructions and kept on dunking the ball...
Lol sounds like chuck. Coach Knight is a tough one so i could imagine some problems between their two personalities
37:45 all 3 of them were in a Converse Weapons commercial, together. All had a base of white, Bird obviously white and green, Magic white gold and Purple, i think Dr J white blue and red.
