iNAP Sleep Apnoea and anti snoring device.
Honest and Independent review of the iNAP Anti Snoring and Sleep Apnoea device. This device, hasn't had much exposure yet on the web but I think it is promising. It consists of a vacuum pump, container and tube and mouthpiece that create a vacuum in the oral cavity,. This stabilises the (most common cause of snoring).. the flappy bit at the back of the oral cavity. If this is what causes your snoring, and you can persevere with it, you will find it works. (Marketed heavily towards Sleep Apnea.)

      Well I have tried the usual array of Amazon 'fixes' which don't fix! For me the whole journey has aggravated my insomnia simply because the snoring worry inhibits sleep, if not in a separate bedroom.Its a huge issue, if you let it. The one thing that helped for a while was the dentist fitted Mandibular Advancement device. Unfortunately it only stopped the one snore area behind the tongue (and then only partly). It then decided to self destruct, which is an evident choke risk. In addition, any messing with the mandibular joint inevitably creates issues, pain being the most immediately obvious. I accept that its just my experience but homo sapiens is essentially similarly designed.

    Unfortunately, I had ordered one before seeing this. It is literally just a microphone that supposedly detects snoring, and a buzzer that goes off in your ear to wake you up when you snore. It is in no way a replacement for a CPAP. Their 60 day money-back guarantee seems useless, since they won't respond to the email they require you to send in order to start the refund process. They're supposed to provide a shipping label, but they simply did not respond at all to either my direct email or my message sent via their website. I've had to initiate a complaint with my credit card company, and at this point, all I can say is that it seems like an outright scam.

    • @bencmaster
      @bencmaster Рік тому

      Well Bill Koleno and John Williams made a serious start on one at the Titan factory. This was to have an Allison V12. I think the development costs were probably the main problem there. But generally, the EAA / UK LAA mentality caters towards the affordable. Sure there are mavericks out there too, maybe more in the USA. If you go full size, there are a number of things that get way bigger than the extra 25% scale and it remains a replica. Cost to build, running costs, hangarage, and of course the size of the hole in the ground if you get it wrong. Im sure this is just the tip of the iceberg. Marcel Jurca (french homebuilt genius) produced a full sized Spitfire which is lovely to look at. Not sure if he designed a full scale Mustang. Lastly, the shortage of suitable V12s is a huge problem. A Chevvy LS3 V8, tuned to the max, may not be a very satisfying power plant.

      @@bencmaster I'm a sheet metal guy...I own a small factory..I produce ..ventilation equipment....this is what I say about programming production costs ...it takes the same labor...to build a 8 ft hood as a 10 ft or 12 ft hood (identical labor cost for all three). Tie up of the same machines...however because of "volume buying of metal"...it's actually less cost to build the 12 ft hood ...If ...if.. you build in production cells of 3 to 5..units..example...if I buy 5000 lbs of 304 stainless 4 b finish the price is $ 390.00 per sheet x 50 sheets...if I buy 10,000 lbs of stainless...the cost is...$250.00 per sheet...x 100 sheets...production costs get much better. great for the bottom line..Secondly ....because there is no guns ...self sealing tanks...armor...bomb shackle s...no antique radio equipment...we shave at least 2500 lbs from the airframe..minimal...thirdly... Ford triton V 10s are sitting every where... can produce 760 hp easily .without breaking a sweat..and my c a l c s say 290 mph at 10,000 AGL for a cruise.. speed....I state ...if your gonna produce Mustangs...let's keep true to the reputation of the Mustangs of days past.....I figure at 1.4 mil per copy they will sell...because your getting a full size REAL FEEL D model MUSTANG...built just as good as they were in 1944...45...

    • @bencmaster
      @bencmaster Рік тому

      We all set these up differently Larry. Just running through what may be obvious to you... The factors are: What we consider max rpm to be on an aircraft application with the Honda and the T51's Airpseed limitations. In my case I set max rpm to a conservative 5000 rpm. (Obviously the Honda could handle more.). Airframe limitations are set for us by the UK's LAA. However the relevant bit, gear and flaps down (take off in this example) is 87 kts or 100mph, which was originally offered by the designers (John W) at Titan. IF you set max rpm higher you will get an even steeper climb out; it is already quite STEEP! Should the motor quit, as happened in NZ with a T51 powered by a Wankel rotary and the climb out is extreme, you'd have trouble getting the nose down for a glide, quick enough. Lastly, the governor on the T51 was originally selected for smaller HP engines and should be working comfortably within its designed range, which it is on this installation. There is no question in my mind that Honda has more than enough power for the aircraft. The wing and probably prop design are the eventual limiting factors in getting higher speeds. For me, the sweet spot is 165 mph with 3750 rpm cruise. At that speed the canopy starts to whistle which is more reliable than any ASI. You also get a pretty good cruise fuel burn at 40 litres/hr.
