You are NOT your work | How do you define self worth?
How do you create self worth? Do you define your worth by the art or work that you put out in the world? I'm hear to tell you to stop. That's what I've just realised. For too long i've been judging myself by the work I put out in the world and the type of photography i've been producing but I've realised that I AM NOT MY WORK. What you do doesn't define WHO you are. Bit of a philosophical one this one but it felt right to make just incase it helps someone who was in a rut like I've been.
Cheers and love

Finding my WHY, when it comes to photography | North Yorkshire Moors
Переглядів 2598 місяців тому
Why do I even take photographs? What's my style? What kind of photographer am I anyway?! I go for a walk on the North York Moors with my Sony A7iv to do some landscape photography and talk through my creative struggles. At the end of the day....take the photos that make you happy. Take the photos that you want to take, don't take them because you think someone else might like them.
Winter Wild Camp | VERY cold and a VERY sketchy decent! I didn't think I was going to make it down!!

Back out in the lakes for a very cold but stunning winter wild camp. It was -7 in the night and I was blessed to see the amazing Aurora Borealis, a life long dream! We got some snow overnight which made for a VERY challenging decent back into Seathwaite. I fell a good few times and I was lucky not to sustain a serious knee injury. Thank god I had my micro spikes and walking poles, otherwise I'd...

This week I am out on my new Gravel Bike, the Triban GRVL 520, cycling from Scarborough to Robin Hoods Bay on the North Yorkshire coast via the famous Cinder Track. It's been ages since I made an outdoorsy style vlog and I've really missed it. Getting out in the the great outdoors never ever fails to help sort my head out and put life into perspective. As always in this outdoor vlog, we have a ...

Nice review. Can u please tell if the camera's live view always show the proper exposure when changing the aperture or shutter speed. I bought one and the live view doesn't always changes especially in low light. It is showing bright but after taking the shot it's dark, not in bright light situations though.

Morning mate. Interesting video. The questions your asking are for your inner self. We have many masks. Farther, work, friend, husband. But sometimes we don't listen too are selfs. When we go camping, we don't always stop thinking about other things. Only when the phone is off do we listen to what is actually happening around us. Hope this helps.
